Was really naughty last night and had a full chocolate binge, really fearful now I'm going to go all the way back. I don't want to but can't seem to stop myself eating at the minute.

Trying to be good where I can.

I for one am really looking forward to January and everything the new year brings.

Hugs lantanna. Are you able to get the chocs out of the house? I have a few in specifically for Christmas, so I've wrapped them and popped them under the tree. Going with the out of sight, out of mind approach. Which is working as I only wrapped stuff a few days ago and already can't remember what's in half of them. :rotfl:

    Today...
Breakfast - Arla, berries and granola (HEB1+1)
Lunch - Ham, egg and cheese salad (HEA)
Dinner - Fish, BNS and spinach
Pudding - Hifi (HEB2) and some syns

Need to make some tasters for group tomorrow as well.

Glad its not just me, I'm actually ready for the food to all disappear already and its not even come out yet really!
  • Another snacky person here, I wish my OH would stop buying all the naughty stuff which I can't resist, we went through nearly a whole packet of hobnobs between us last night, have not dared look at the syns I'm just pretending it didn't happen :D

    Today's food:

B - puffed wheat with banana & peach
    L - homemade scotch broth - yesterday's LOs
T - WW sweet & sour chicken frozen meal with extra veg (lazy tea as both working late)

Will be doing more veg snacking than fruit snacking I think today, I've burnt my tongue  (although I don't remember doing it - I was probably chain munching hob nobs at the time and didn't realise :rotfl:) and oranges apples etc make it really sting. I know that choc will probably make it better :p but I'm going to be a good girl and refrain ;)

    Have a happy friday everyone

    Hi all

Had a lovely evening with friends and I was doing really well resisting nibbles until the host brought out some honey roasted nuts - they were sweet and salty at the same time and really moreish. A few wine Syns were consumed too, so today is going to be low in Syns.

I had planned to not buy any festive treats but I've noticed the odd thought popping into my head about maybe just a few... DH and I both like cheese and crackers so I may put together a cheese board for Christmas night with some cherry tomatoes, carrot sticks and grapes. The problem is always the left over naughties, which will have to be eaten in small amounts and synned post Christmas.

Thankfully, I don't have the temptations of tins of Roses, Quality Street and their ilk! When I worked in offices there were always plenty of them either gifts from clients or brought in by colleagues and very hard to resist.

Be strong everyone, focus on your long term goals, but at the same time don't go without treats to the point of feeling deprived.
