Afternoon..
Musogirl, they changed the rice syns earlier in the year, annoying isn't it
I might go with the late approach for decorations next year, i hate putting them upand hate taking them down even more :rotfl: The SIL has offered to do it next year though, she loves it, as long as i cook her dinner..
You're tea sounded amazing BEG, love a good bap and chips...
I must try brisket in the slow cooker, it's not a joint of meat i've used before. No room in the freezer yet for a butcher trip though, as we had our xmas meat delivered yesterday (it's free so i can't complain about it being too early!) Its a massive leg of lamb that takes up a whole shelf  we'll be slow cooking it over night on Xmas eve
I noticed we'd lost a few more people when i was doing the chart last night, hope you're all ok, i think we haven't seen Mildredd, Lush or Greentiger for a while  if you're reading.. and anyone else i've missed..Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Thanks for the info! It sounds a bit mind boggling for me, would probably have to read it 20 times! Haha!
I'll just try 95% of the time, the yog is mainly the only 'treat' thing I'm having so don't want to give it up, it's only a 50cal pot.
Every year when I put up the 'decs, I buy the dairy milk chocolate 'trinkets' for the tree - they're always gone by about the 19th! Haha! Good luck!0 -

Hi everyone
Have been MIA for a little bit on here but still reading. Well done HorseyKaz for SOTW and congrats june on hitting challenge target :T Congrats to the other losers this week, some brill losses
Have been good this week food-wise well .. ish :rotfl: Better than last week anyway. So I'm hoping it'll reflect positively on the scales this week. If not I shall have to blame it on silly season - I love that arkersI've not been feeling 100% the past 2 days and spent the majority of it sleeping, must have caught someone's germs while out being festive on Sunday  I've been on plan as much as possible though, up side of being ill is not wanting to get out of my pjs and pop to the corner shop for the bad stuff
:D
So behind christmas-wise our tree's not up yet - neighbours are giving us bah humbug looks when we pass them in the street! That may be tomorrow's task if I'm feeling better
Back tomorrow for the dreaded weigh in!0 -
Hi all
Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Kaz for SOTW again :T and well done June for reaching your target for the challenge. :j
I'm halfway to my target for this challenge - must try harder! Yesterday was a good day, no alcohol and only a few Syns consumed. Just had an early lunch - ham salad with tortilla, and dinner is going to be SW cottage pie. We're out at a quiz tonight but I usually stick to slimline tonic anyway so no wine Syns again. Someone introduced me to caramel Baileys last week so we bought a bottle, it does make a lovely nightcap, but far too many Syns so I've put it somewhere out of sight!
The Cheese - if you click on Go Advanced when typing a post, the emoticons are underneath the text box. You can click more to see others including special occasion ones. You can also download hundreds of different ones from the Internet - just google emoticons.
Beg - don't worry about having a little gain, it will be some bodily anomaly and will sort itself out in the long run. I know it's really annoying when you've avoided giving in to temptation, you don't deserve to gain. I often joke that I only have to look at fattening food to put on weight, but sometimes think there's something in that, so at times like Christmas when they are everywhere you can't avoid them.
Tweets - I know it's easier said than done, but try not to stress about maintaining, stick to weighing once a week at most. Some people have a strategy to cope with gains, like doing EESP for a few days, or having minimal Syns. Remind yourself how well you've done in getting to target, you must feel so different and look better in your clothes.
Have a good day everyone. DH and I are going into Cartagena to have a walk along the port.

That looks fine to me although I haven't checked the syn values. I'm sure you know it's only a measly amount of porage oats (35g) and grapes are only a free food not Speed. And don't starve yourself as I doesn't look a lot of food overall! Good Luck and do post whenever you want.:)
Thanks for that quote june. We had asked my consultant things like that but she didn't know. She's nice but dim. I don't know about in your group but in mine EESP is rarely mentioned unless one of us brings it up. She talked us through it when the new books came out a year ago and that was it.0 -
Thanks Maman0

Sidling with a hanging head
1.75lb gain please Shala:eek::eek::eek:
A combination of a boozy night out, far too much chinese takeaway buffet - just to add insult to injury it wasn't even that nice - and lots of sweets and stuff hanging around at work. Oh dear.
Looks like I'll have to be much stricter than planned somehow at Christmas as this really shows how quick the flab goes back on, it woz the drink that did it.A few drinks in me and I was picking at food like a madwoman...
Exercise being upped now!
Well done to the losers and STS and HorseyKat as SOTW.0 -
