Yes BEG I'll be going to class, I've told myself no excuses I'l be going every single week whether I like it or not to face the music.
Even if I've ate half a cake shop and got lost at a Chinese buffet I'll be going every week. (Part of my new approach) I also want to pick up the new mag anyway.
Oh and BEG if it helps my tree isn't going up until Friday night, just not been up to it and I've not really had the time. We can just do our best.
Re the ESSP I'm the same, rather than do full days of it and stick to it religiously I go try to have a couple of meals in the week where I can.
My tree is up and my fireplace is decorated but I haven't put loads of other bits out.. It might sound a lot but most of it is silver/white/clear so it appears quite minimalist look :rotfl:. Our tree is a white twiggy affair that has the built in twinkly lights with little silver discs and all the decorations are clear glass - strictly no colour allowed :rotfl:.
Oh good news from class - I won the raffle :j:j:j. Lovely big bag of store cupboard items which my brother raided last night. He took the tinned spaghetti (don't eat that myself) and a packet of cereal bars which he said would be good for his lunchbox .
Had 1.5 wholemeal buns last night (instead of 1) filled with the brisket in gravy and some Auntie Bessies chunky chips - do I care? No - I am back on it today after my little strop last night :rotfl:
Have a good day everyone

Good morning everyone,
Well done HK and June for SOTW for two weeks in a row and reaching target.
I would like to check in with a loss of -3lbs please Shala! I have done my usual of nothing or little the week before, and then a really good loss the following week, I can't explain it as I don't seem to be doing anything different. I guess it's the way my body works.
I'm totally chuffed, as my total loss so far is 17lbs. I'm starting to feel so much better in myself. For me there is a correlation between mental health and physical health.
Off to bodybalance this morning. I'm not very good, but I enjoy it non the less!
I'm away this weekend which will be totally off plan as off to the land of cream teas and pasties (which I'll try to avoid). I plan to do a lot of walking so this will help. (Hopefully I'll walk past the tea shops!).
Good luck everyone now that we're well into silly season.
Arkers x0 -
Arkers, I am exactly the same my mental health and physical health are directly linked.
When one goes down the other suffers too.0 -
:T good loss arkers, well done!Yes BEG I'll be going to class, I've told myself no excuses I'l be going every single week whether I like it or not to face the music.

So eating half a cake and a Chinese buffet is your new approach. Like it!!:D:rotfl:You sound a bit brighter today.:)The_Cheese wrote: »BlueChooChoo sorry, the comments about circuits were meant for you! Still trying to learn all the names!!

Definitely useful is NSV (Non Scale Victory). You'll need that for when you get into a size smaller!!
Those circuit classes sound like the Curves gym chain. My friend swears by those for keeping fit and supple rather than weightloss.
Without being pedantic:o 100% EESP is meant to be 50:50 Protein and Speed Food, 2 HEBs, 1 HEA and syns. So no free food at all that isn't S or P. Then we hit the grey area: you aren't meant to have free yogurt but can you have, for example, full fat which would be synned. I think the SW answer would be that's a cheat or an abuse of yogurt!:rotfl:
I think there's every chance that decs could go up here today. I do the fireplace, cards and a few bits hanging on pictures but my tree is one of those with everything under the sun on, definitely not minimalist beg.
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS Grapefruit, 2 fried eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham, LO veg (Speed), beetrootsausage, mash, carrots, cabbage, fried onions, peas
Syns: gravy. 2 for sausages0 -
Well done to HK for SOTW, this week's losers so far and on the raffle win b_e_g! I haven't entered ours in a few weeks now, as the prizes have been completely pants. I think it's a budget issue - so many people are weighing and going, or only staying for part of group, that there were only two ticket holders by the time the raffle was done last week. Probably not going to be anything in the box this week! :rotfl:
Today...
Breakfast - Weetabix and berries (HEB1 + 1/2 HEA)
Lunch - Quiche and salad
Dinner - Bolognese (1/2 HEA)
May make baked apple for my second HEB, otherwise it will be the usual HiFis.0 -

I'm going to be pedantic too!Full fat yoghurt isn't fully synned so even it is a tweak on SP. As an example, Total 0% greek yoghurt is free. The full fat version is 9 syns for a 500g pot. But that pot contains 480 calories. Which if it was fully synned, would be 24 syns! So they're obviously only synning the fat rather than everything.
Using synned free foods is actually in their FAQ, so this is a shortened version of the official answer from SW. Hopefully it's OK to post even though it's from the member's area as I'm not copying the entire article..."It really is important that if you decide to follow Extra Easy SP, know that you're deciding to choose your Free Foods from the S and P lists and continue to use your Syns for those foods (or drinks) that you love to add to your meals (like gravy, dressings, ketchup, spreads, wine, desserts etc) to make your personal plan a lifestyle plan. We don't recommend using Synned equivalents of Extra Easy Free Foods – whether that's Synned yogurts, fresh pasta, microwave rice, oven chips or frozen jackets."
But as maman said earlier, 95% SP is (probably) still better than a full EE day.0 -
Hi all
Thanks for the chart Shala and well done Kaz for SOTW again :T and well done June for reaching your target for the challenge. :j
I'm halfway to my target for this challenge - must try harder! Yesterday was a good day, no alcohol and only a few Syns consumed. Just had an early lunch - ham salad with tortilla, and dinner is going to be SW cottage pie. We're out at a quiz tonight but I usually stick to slimline tonic anyway so no wine Syns again. Someone introduced me to caramel Baileys last week so we bought a bottle, it does make a lovely nightcap, but far too many Syns so I've put it somewhere out of sight!
The Cheese - if you click on Go Advanced when typing a post, the emoticons are underneath the text box. You can click more to see others including special occasion ones. You can also download hundreds of different ones from the Internet - just google emoticons.
Beg - don't worry about having a little gain, it will be some bodily anomaly and will sort itself out in the long run. I know it's really annoying when you've avoided giving in to temptation, you don't deserve to gain. I often joke that I only have to look at fattening food to put on weight, but sometimes think there's something in that, so at times like Christmas when they are everywhere you can't avoid them.
Tweets - I know it's easier said than done, but try not to stress about maintaining, stick to weighing once a week at most. Some people have a strategy to cope with gains, like doing EESP for a few days, or having minimal Syns. Remind yourself how well you've done in getting to target, you must feel so different and look better in your clothes.
Have a good day everyone. DH and I are going into Cartagena to have a walk along the port.

Well done on that cracking loss Arkers :T Enjoy your weekend:

Oh the tree is well covered maman but everything has to be in the right colour ie clear glass:rotfl:

We are pretty lucky with our raffle prizes. Our consultant usually does say - ingredients for a particular recipe (just add meat/fridge bits), for Halloween everything had orange theme, red theme for Valentines, summertime could be picnic things. She says our raffle money covers the prizes and pays for tea/coffee etc. She has several different fruity teas to choose from too. She really puts the effort in.
Lunch today has been ham, salad leaves, toms, beetroot, boiled eggs, spring onions, peppers, cucumber and cottage cheese with a little drizzle of lf salad cream followed by a Muller Cappucino (sp). Haven't got a clue what we will be having later - that's rich I know coming from me who always says it's best to plan but ... I haven't today
). Have got several options in freezer so will see what falls out later I think.
