    Good Evening everyone :)

I am fed up of seeing rain rain and more rain :(

5 more days then off for 2 weeks :j:j for :snow_grin:santa2::rudolf::xmastree::xmassmile:snow_laug

Don't want any snow neither not this week :)

b-e-g I hope the snow is not too bad in your neck of the woods. I have a real fear of driving in these conditions and avoid as much as possible. I don't have a 4WD, so that's my excuse!!:rotfl:I can empathise with you in the toilet dept. There but for the grace of God etc!

Haven't had any more come down today and some of the really frozen stuff was just starting to give a little when the temperature started to fall again so all this wet stuff will be frozen hard again very soon. I am terrified of driving in it and only drive if it is absolutely necessary. I find each year I am getting more nervous walking on the damned stuff in case I fall. DH just tells me I need to relax and go with it - yeah right :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you get the result you are looking for at weigh in this week :).

Update on tonight's tea - it was absolutely delish :D. The meat (brisket) was just melt in the mouth and so tasty. Beef was sat on onions and carrots in oven and then DH just blitzed them into the gravy nom nom (more speed maman :p). We also had carrot and swede mash, brocolli, cabbage and a couple of boiled potatoes. For dessert I have just had a Muller Apple Strudel Yoghurt.

Just settling down now to watch Nativity film with a cup of chai and then it's Strictly then XFactor. :D

Sorry TIE missed this earlier.. glad that all his tests have come back fine but this must still be a worry for you.

Is it possible it's something he's eating that doesn't agree with him? hope it clears up soon xx

The dr blames everything on his size and was thinking diabetes, cholesterol etc but everything came back normal. Wish they would help with his weight instead of criticise. Nothing works not even sw but thyroid is normal too. Who knows??
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

We've just finished a lovely beef dinner too. Demonstrated to DH how Food Optimising works by looking at the serving dishes. Worked out 50% non-carby Speed food (red cabbage, cauli, broccoli and carrots) and the rest lean beef and potatoes/parsnips. Still trying to educate my DH as he has has listened to all the 5-a-day stuff and wants to include tomato ketchup and dates and bananas....and loads of things I know aren't the best choices.:( Your DH is a hero blitzing the veg into gravy. When I do a trivet of veg I can't resist eating it before it gets anywhere near gravy making.:o

Strange reading about all the snow. It's dull and grey here but no less than 12 degrees and promises to be 14 later in the week:). Biggest driving hazard we have is puddles ad potholes.

DH's ice-scraper snapped yesterday afternoon - the ice was just so thick and solid. Went to Asda to get replacement scraper today and they only had bright pink. DH says he doesn't care what colour it is as long as it does the job - all well and good just hope he's not expecting me to use it .

Is it just me or are they really stretching the XFactor show to fill the 2 hours?

I can't bear to watch it live, I just fast forward the bits that are boring! Think I watch about 10 minutes on average :rotfl:

The winners song this year is awful, really boring... I only watch it because I like Cheryl and Grimmy...:D Rita needed to put her bubs away most weeks :rotfl:

SW food can be delicious. It's much easier with people staying with you than the other way round, you just need a plan. The thing to beware of is the festive wine syns;). All the more reason to plan syn free/low syn meals to balance it off.

I'm feeling thin tonight which is unusual on a Sunday evening. Normally, because I have almost all my week's syn bank between Friday 6 p.m. and now I feel stuffed. Amazing what a low syn Saturday can do plus I missed lunch today as I got stuck into some work and got distracted. Last of the lentil soup still in the fridge for tomorrow:).
