  • Crikey, really thought I had updated here, oops.

News - Op is definitely the 27th - phoned to ask and they still thought it was this Wed gone, phone again Tuesday and they had updated, I was moved as a more urgent case had come in. I immediately felt awful for being annoyed as this means a woman had been told she had cancer.

and that so easily could have been me. Scary thought.

So it does sod up my holiday but in the grand grand scheme of things it doesn't matter does it? I will have house bound time for about 2 -3 weeks, and thus can colour, write and do school work then. am considering learning to crotchet or improve my french! I will in all likelihood watch a lot of films but at least I have options.

I have become weirdly excited about doing the garden and the house. I reckon I will have about 3 weeks to do that. It is pretty good really.

I checked all my money. Am ok. Overspent on the CC a bit but the reality is that the spending I did was for the garden and part of the grand borrowing at 0% so will use that. ( I bought a hammock!)

I can't say I am exactly looking forward to the next few weeks but school is nearly done and next weekend I will move my room round and prep for the op.

right, I shall post this before it disappears like the other one!

  • I actually think it's good that you have a break between school and surgery. Everyone gets uptight and anxious pre surgery and you'd have been trying to squeeze all your end of term stuff into fewer days too. I don't think it'd be good for you.
Glad to hear you bought a hammock. Now just use it to take things easy.
    Take care.
