I know the op is worrying but I'm glad it's scheduled to be done. You may end up with a scar but you are alive! Every time I look at the 15" scar on my left forearm I'm so very grateful I still have that arm. A horrible car wreck and I almost lost it. It's like a badge of honor that I survived.

Hope you are ok Buffster. One of my friends is going through treatment for breast cancer at the moment. She found a lump quite by chance, had it removed, is now having chemo. But it was caught early thankfully.

I am meant to be at a BBQ

I have toothache, am two hours late, very stressed, toothache is KILLING ME and am generally fed up.

I have got LOADS to do, Mum isn't communicative and is either forgetting things or is super tired. I keep thinking she is nearly 80 and probably shouldn't be coping with my outbursts. She now knows about the op and has been very good at not fussing. Which is a miracle.

I am worried about her tho. And me if I am honest.

debt stands at 5000 pounds, I need to pay 500 quid now and next month.

I have 3000 for dentist and 2000 in emergency fund.
    Plus 7125 in the ISA
I will be debt free by feb.2017.

sorry am so miserable! going to be great company at bbq
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Please, please go to a dental relief of pain clinic. Everything seems so much worse when things hurt and this is something that can be addressed. Also, is your mum drinking enough? She's of a similar generation to my mum who doesn't really do cold drinks and can dehydrate in the summer. Apparently this can cause confusion / memory loss.
