How Many Receipts Can I Submit and How Often?

You can submit receipts at any time, but there are 3 receipt thresholds.

Coin-Receipt Threshold (formerly Grocery): The threshold for coins-receipts is a maximum of 20 coin-receipts in a 7 day rolling period. This is not a set 7 days like Monday through Sunday, but rather a a sliding window relative to the current date and time. One way to conceptualize this is whenever you are about to upload a receipt, think of how many receipts have been uploaded within 7 days of the current time and date, and that number must be less than 20 for the next receipt to count.

Spin-Receipt Threshold (formerly Non-grocery): Similar to the coin-receipt threshold, the threshold for spin-receipts is also 20 in a 7 day period. This works exactly the same, but with a separate maximum of 20.

Store Threshold: Regardless of the day they are uploaded to our system, a maximum of 3 receipts with the same transaction date from the same business will be accepted.

Receipts contribute to this threshold as they are processed in our system so if you upload more than 3 receipts, the 3 receipts that finish processing first will qualify. Shorter receipts tend to process before longer receipts and may push these longer ones out of the threshold purely as a result of timing. Longer receipts naturally may take a bit longer to process since they have more information.

Please Note: Receipts that trigger any of these limits become ineligible and cannot be uploaded a second time or they will be flagged as duplicates. These limits are in place to prevent individuals from purposefully abusing our system or submitting receipts that are not their own.

Fingers crossed, it seems to have worked, but the ICT technician at work has taken pity on me and offered to look for me if I take it in next week.

I have big news - well - big for me. I got a cheque for refunded PPI this morning for £176. Well, with a bit of budget rejigging I managed to find the £341 that I needed to make my final payment to Stepchange. So I can officially call myself debt free. I feel I should be more happy than I actually am but I don't think I can quite believe it... Ah well - so I've made some cash and become debt free. Strange day indeed but I'm not complaining...

firstly macafee is well known for allowing viruses, malware, adware etc through. so please let Mr IT take a look and may I suggest he removes macafee and installs one of the free ones I suggested, as they are much more protective.

    AND MOST IMPORTANTLY

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS ON BECOMING DEBT FREE!!!

Have you added your name to the rollcall on MSE for debt free people?

It will feel strange for a few days as it a huge weight off your shoulders and you won't yet believe it.

but once it sinks in.... time!

    Rampant Recycler Debt-free and Proud!

Thanks for this advice Aesop. I am completely computer illiterate - if it doesn't switch on and work then I don't know what to do with it. I ran my AV software (which is McAffee) and that sorted most of the problem out - then left it running the malware while I was at work. Fingers crossed, it seems to have worked, but the ICT technician at work has taken pity on me and offered to look for me if I take it in next week. I'd rather an expert looked at it than trust my own judgement. :o:o:o:o:o

Thanks again Aesop. I just got a PM telling me I'd been awarded my badge - I've gone from 0 to 2 just today :D Making £10 a day is more important than ever for November now because we literally don't have a spare penny anywhere.
Thanks also for the advice re the IT stuff. I shall leave it with the technician. The Macaffee stuff came free with the bb so it's not paid anyway - but I remember in a dim and distant past I used to have AVG.
