Signed up to the Plusnet broadband and landline deal on this week's newsletter. We were paying a whopping £37 per month which is £444 a year!! Now it's £15.60 and I've not taken the £75 cashback into account. So I'm claiming £21.40 difference to add to this month's pot.
    £53.60/300
  • Nothing for me today except a laptop that is so full of adware and viruses that I can't get it online any more :(
I've been on with it since I got in from work and am busily trying to update on the iPad while its doing a full virus scan on the laptop. Ugh - I wish I was computer literate but the truth is that I know nothing.
    Tomorrow is a new day.
  • Finally went back to work, £11.30 in tips which I didn't deserve as I feel too poorly to give a good service. Also 1 sale on fleabay of £4.75 to add.

I have nothing on fleabay now, but I must get some done this weekend!

Hopefully I'll get my £7 from amazon which I will add once I get it. Have checked my boots points and I have a HUGE £64.29 on there. Not adding it, but will add it when I get round to using it. Or I might just carry on saving it, not sure yet.

Anyway, my total stands at £20.28 now. All in my savings account again. My tips I transfer from my current account into my savings account and then use my tips as cash I would have withdrawn, if that makes any sense. Hopefully I will have no more expensive household items to replace and I can raise enough THIS month for my blinds! If it wasn't for my stupid cooker I could have bought my blinds now. Still haven't bought my cooker (but have the cash for one). I'm watching a new one on ebay which is up for auction (ex-display). I hoping (fingers crossed) I might be able to get a bargain with it!

Anyway, I'm rambling.... Need to think of more ways to raise money apart from my tips. Not much made this month so far due to poor health. #MustTryHarder

sorry to hear about your laptop. What antivirus do you currently use?

I can recommend free antivirus that is highly recommended by top IT guys.

Also, I know you are doing a full virus scan but it depends on what antivirus you are using.

I can recommend malwarebytes for a full scan for malware and adware.

CC cleaner to clean up redundant temporary files and cache history that clogs up the computer.

Then download, install and run only of these as a full virus scan.

    https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/

    only install free version

once installed run to clean the laptop.

    https://www.avast.com/en-gb/index - the free version

    or

    http://www.avg.com/us-en/free-antivirus-protection - the free version

only install one version though and run.

glad to hear you are feeling a bit better CP. and I bet the tips are well deserved.

I will try and pop some more money making/finding ideas but is DS' birthday Sunday and I am still running around trying to get his some pressies as cheaply as possible.

I kinda lost the plot with getting stuff listed on ebay :( I really must take my own advice and use turbo lister so next time I have 100 listings, stuff is ready to list.

ooh I got a new badge :) so did you CP

Ohh I did! How did you notice that?? :rotfl:

What sort of presents are you after? You don't need to add ideas for me. I can re-read the first few posts :D
