    I hope I can count this... it's a bit like a voucher I guess...

When I got to the station this morning the car park ticket barriers weren't working so I couldn't get a ticket (it's a car park where you take a ticket when you enter, and pay before you leave). I parked anyway and when I got back this evening, I explained to the man and offered to pay but he let me out for free :)

So I would like to add the £7 car parking money to my total which brings me to £23.74.

you're in a difficult position being a teacher, and having spare hours.

With ebay, maybe you could use something like turbolister, to upload one item a day if you could manage that, then when there are 100 free listings or your 20 free listings, you can bulk upload. That might help.

have you signed up for the lotteries? the free ones including freecatlottery. They aren't guaranteed incomes but fun to do and you never know!

you might find it easier to do survey sites on your phone? some of the sites have phone apps, that you could maybe manage a few minutes a day? clic and walk, roamler, onepulse, valued opinions, mysurvey.

    Thanks Aesop :D
I have downloaded a couple of those apps to my phone this evening and I'll have a look in a bit. I've never used turbolister on eBay before so I should look into it and find out a bit more. Good news today though is that I got my £30 cashback from my September energy switch. And I found a pound coin in the bottom of a box I was sorting out at work.
Oh, and I'm on the free lotteries as well - I wish I had 6 email addresses so I could enter all of our cats into the lottery :rotfl:

Thank you - yes he is a very nice man. I'm glad he was on duty and not his grumpy colleague who would probably have tried to charge me double!

My second parcel of books and CDs arrived at Ziffitt today - hopefully they''ll accept everything so I can add £17 to my total tomorrow.

No money made, been on the sick with this stupid chest infection. Its driving me insane. Too exhausted to even ebay. Will get backto it after the weekend hopefully.
    CP xx
Hope you soon feeling better CP. Have you tried some V*ck rub ?

Well done to everyone making monies.

If anyone is in the Sealed Pot Challenge for this year the opening of the pots and count-up is the morrow - 5th November !! Please remember to post your totals :D

Received £17.14 bank interest and 50p survey = £17.64 to add.

We've had a minor disaster - the main freezer has pegged out !! Suppose can't complain, it was a recon one six years ago and only cost £50, so had our money's worth eh ;)

It took me three hours to find a new one. Tried using Quidco and the electrical shop that sounds like it sells indian food. Found a freezer that would suit but couldn't get past the 'find a delivery time/day page'. Tried a few other places and eventually bought one from Mr T.

On the down side it cost £200 and might have to wait until Monday for it to arrive  Also, obviously, I had to throw away quite a lot of stuff. Fortunately it was mainly frozen veggies, bread and ice-cream, as managed to cram all the more expensive stuff into my small freezer. Also had started running down stocks in both, ready to defrost and refill end of November, which I normally do anyway.

On the up side I get free delivery as I have a delivery saver, saving £19.95 and they will uplift my old freezer for £9.95, saving me £15.05 if had to use the local council at £25 a time !! No wonder there is a plague of illegal fly-tipping. Plus 200 points. This makes a total saving of £37.

Btw - it was £10 cheaper with the Amazing site but delivery was £29.95, so Mr T might be a good place to check in future for large h/h items.

I was really pleased that I had an empty c. card to use, which we won't have to repay until end December :j

Sorry long post and hope you all have a super Thursday

wow lynne, commiserations on freezer but well done! round here our council charges £30+ to lift, hence why mattresses, freezer, washing machine etc left on the road for them to lift for free!
