What sort of presents are you after? You don't need to add ideas for me. I can re-read the first few posts
CP xx
I posted and noticed something purple and then scrolled down a bit and you had a new badge too
just after I posted too :rotfl:
he is into a particular football team, so I have to buy the new strip, pencil case, seen a sharpner and water bottle, so will probably get that too.
he wants a DS2, seen the one tesco have cheap but only have £2.50 to double up, must check if any direct codes to make it cheaper.
then he wants expensive london transport buses from the london transport museum but he is not getting them!
will get him a game, seen this cool projector thing, so he can draw and project it on the wall, needs some new play dough as think I threw the last lot out when he mixed all the colours. He spotted a new dvd about shaun the sheep in superdrug so will get that, it was cheaply priced. Spotted a minions book online reduced too, so will get that.
Have already bought him some books as he does love reading. bought him a book about egyptians from the works and he told me they have now changed topics at school! they are no longer doing the egyptians! how dare they!
he is also very keen on road dahl books now, more than Julia Donaldson, so might see if I can get The BFG cheap and maybe the dvd of James and the Giant Peach. I bought a DVD with disney reward points so that was free - UP is the film.
And i have £16 to spend at argos using vouchers, so will see what can find on 3 for 2.0 -
Morning all. No more to add for me, I've been doing odds and sods this week but will add when it cashes out. Rather impressed with my shiny new badge though!
Will do some competition entries this weekend I think, and try and hammer inboxpound5 as that isn't shifting at the moment and I'm stuck on £4.80.
Have a good day! xMSE-ing since 20070 -

Is he getting all this lot for one birthday?:eek::eek:0 -
Adding:
- £16.77 from Ziffit for a box of books and CDs they processed yesterday
- £3.20 rail delay compensation voucher (you can exchange these for cash now)
- 12p Qmee
New total: £43.99
Was going to add £2.30 for a free coffee I had a voucher for, but when I was in the shop my boss's boss appeared in the queue behind me and I paid for his coffee as wellStill, keeping in his good books will probably be worth more than £2.30 in the long term...
Hope your DS has a good birthday Aesop.0 -
Not my idea. I was happy to give him 2 dad's and books and maybe a couple of games we can play as a family.
His Dad is insisting I buy him stuff so he has lots to open. We have this argument every year.
Think it stems from a poor childhood. He is not having any kind of party this year, so no partisans, venue costs etc.
But all the stuff I am buying is reduced. The works was bought when they had a sale and used discount codes. Disneyvrewards were free from codes, have argos vouchers from various sites and the football stuff is on sale, as is Ds2.
I don't like spoiling DS but he won't get anything else. Only his grandparents will send one item of clothing and dvd. The rest of the family don't bother with us. My family won't send anything, his sister will send a card.
So this is from all the family's non existent contributions lol.
It sounds a lot but when I wrap it individually, will look a lot and then once opened will be nothing.
But I have shopped as cheaply as I can under circumstances.
Now to win Xmas presents.

Yay to new badge. Noticed a few others got one too.
I am so sad lol
Are you doing your daily searches to make sure you earn 15p. I worked out with that and paid emails takes about 2 months to cash out. But the inbox pounds thread is helpful. I have it on email alert. They tell you about any good offers and quick surveys..Morning all. No more to add for me, I've been doing odds and sods this week but will add when it cashes out. Your son is very lucky! Can kind of understand where your DH is coming from, especially as he only gets gifts from you really. If we can't spoil our kids on their birthday or at christmas, when can we?

Aesop, I wasn't criticising, I hope you didn't think I was:o. I was just surprised that he was getting so much for his birthday when there's Christmas so close. I know my friend, whose birthday is the beginning of December, always maintained that she got less than her sisters (with summer birthdays) because her parents were already concentrating on Christmas.
I hope you all have a lovely day:bdaycake:Not my idea. I was happy to give him 2 dad's and books and maybe a couple of games we can play as a family.

yes I know but despite having a big family on both sides, especially mine, we are the only ones who will give him pressies.
I got the toysrus xmas catalogue in the post yesterday and my DS said ooh. I said oh yes look through it and circle what you want for xmas. He said really? I said nooooo cruel parent that I am.
And with xmas he usually gets clothes from me which he is not impressed with lol as he has nothing wearable.0
