    You're allowed a couple of days off ! :j
  • Thanks Procrastinater - I think I need a day or two. Back to it tomorrow though - I'll be tutoring.
  • Hi all,

I know it's a little late but please can i join in? I'd like to go for £5 a day. I received a £5 voucher for something sb related i did last month and £6.50 from a sale that was collected today. I have various items on ebay, one has sold and two will sell so fingers crossed for a few more to follow suit.

    Thank you.

Ebayers, check your emails. They just sent me an offer of 75% off final value fees for 10 items, but they have to be listed today.
  • A big welcome chasingdreams:). Just replied to your post on the Emergency Fund thread. Will probably see you around a lot on our money-saving journeys.

Welcome to all the other new members to our challenge too:beer:. Stick with it as this thread is the place to be if you want ideas for making a bit of extra money (many of them probably things you'd never thought of before). The support, encouragement and help from people is second to none:j:j:j

Well done to all money-makers:T. Not much to report myself except another couple of books sold last night but won't declare profit until it hits my bank account.

Yes this is so true - this is my second month of the challenge and so far this month I've made over £50. Without the challenge I probably wouldn't have bothered. So that's an extra £50 in my savings account for my house move next year. Checking the thread each day for new ideas also serves as a reminder to check other things e.g. the free lotteries etc.

Today's activity - just listed 4 books on Ebay, not too hopeful of a sale but with the 75% off FVF offer I've got, it's worth a try. Sorted a big bag of books for the charity shop - hopefully they'll be able to get something for them as I've failed. And I have a coupon to get some cheap petrol which expires today so I will fill the car up on the way back from the Remembrance Day service.

And I've got one small package to post to Ziffit which will net me about £9 if they accept everything.

Finally whilst it won't count towards this challenge, I need to go through my work expenses for October and make sure I've claimed everything. I think I'm owed about £15 for Oyster travel and about £5 for phone calls (my work phone had a problem so I had to use my home landline until it was fixed).

Also waiting for a tax refund but the speed HMRC work at means I'll probably count that towards the Make £10 a Day November 2016 challenge. :rotfl:

    #5 update- £127.31

A very short but sweet car boot for me today.

We were only there 2 hours due to the rain setting in and never managed to get totally unpacked as we were that busy!

£100 made in total so £50 split between me and the mother goose. so £127.31 in total for the month so far. We are planning on going back later in the month to get rid of the rest of the stuff.

Thankyou everyone for DS' birthday wishes. He is having a great day and very happy with the presents he got/we got him. In the end I didn't buy the books or DS as it went up in price.

I actually bought less ad DH said I had bought too much lol. And everything was reduced/free so well under his budget!!

DS got some money so have suggested he puts the money towards the DS he wants rather than waste it.
