Evening all, hope you all had lovely weekends. I sold a few little bits on ebay tonight, only £8.49 after fees and postage but at least it was on promo with 25% off final value fees and postage fees. Need to get a few more things on and also pluck up the courage to sell on my local Facebook page so there will be no postage and no fees! Also spent a £5 department store voucher on friday that I hadn't added here yet.

    Damn !

Packing my £50 item from yesterday, I've managed to drop it and break the casing  I guess I have no choice but to refund and explain to the buyer, since I sold it as "Hardly used" and Good condition. I hope he does understand. I don't have time to communicate properly with him as I'm in hosp tomorrow !
    Oh dear - what a shame :(
Hope the hospital goes okay for you the morrow !

    Such a long weekend 'off'!

    7 hours overtime - 40.95
    £120 second job wages.

£166.80 so far this month. :D dead chuffed with that.
Well done - that is a super amount for the weekend eh ;)
I haven't forgotten about you all honest! Had a bit of a nightmare with paypal deciding to close my account on me because i was sending money back and forth to my mum and they say there is risk of financial loss or something ridiculous.....anyway been fighting with them about it. Have had some sales on fb but as money is now trapped in paypal haven't added it to balance. Have to wait 30 days for them to release it :(

Anyway just thought its worth letting peeps know its not a good idea to send money frequently back and forth to family....
Wondered where you where FC ? Sorry to hear about your probs with PP. How's everything else going ?

Hey folks, haven't updated in a while!

Was thinking I hadn't done much this month but then remembered I could count (I assume) my payment I got from the complaint I lodged with my bank - so at £115.21, though £100 of that is said compensation! Still, it's all cash!
Well done for that - super amount of compensation ;)

  • I'm sure there'll be someone who knows more about Disney stuff than me, I've never sold any:o. What I do if I'm unsure whether whatever I'm planning to list is worth bothering about is to find something similar and click on the 'completed/sold listings' (somewhere in the column at the L.H. side of the page.) Gives some idea what sort of prices you can expect.

Thanks CBC, always forget about completed listings :o

Have you taken out Disney codes? If so, put that in your listing, no Disney code inside box. I haven't really sold any on eBay. I tend to bundle and sell to ziffit, etc but I know a lady who might know. Will ask her

I've no idea, will have a look tomorrow. I assume they will be some kicking about in the boxes. Will that make a difference do you think??

Thanks Lynne, getting there slowly. I hate this time of year. I always suffer with my health.

Well done to everyone making money! Your all doing great. I'm up for an ebay challenge.... Anything to get me motivated! :rotfl:

DH has an old BMX. Its a collectors bike in really good condition and has been sat in the shed for a couple of years. He has given me permission to sell it (because he wants a new tv :rotfl:) so I'm gonna look into seeing where the best place to sell would be.

Pleased Aesop Junior has enjoyed his day! Happy birthday to him!

Luckyphone is on a rollover £50.... so get checking folks!
  • Hi

im new but i know aesop from facebook.

i would sell your disney dvds on ebay individually first. I have sold some this way. I got more on ebay than i would with ziffit. I scan the barcode with my phone then click on sold and completed and see how much they go for. I click on a dvd that has sold and then sell one like this and its all there you just need to put the price in. I prefer to do by it now with dvds.

CP, if they are used dvds, people won't expect the disney rewards codes. if you have them and haven't banked them, put that in your listing as you may get more for the dvd then.

If they are new unopened dvds, people will expect the codes to be in there, but sometimes they are not.

otherwise bank the codes yourself and put in listing, no codes.
