    #5 update- £127.31

A very short but sweet car boot for me today.

We were only there 2 hours due to the rain setting in and never managed to get totally unpacked as we were that busy!

£100 made in total so £50 split between me and the mother goose. so £127.31 in total for the month so far. We are planning on going back later in the month to get rid of the rest of the stuff.

    Sophie

That's brilliant, sophie:T. What a mega amount for so little time actually selling, I envy you. All my local car boots seem to have ended for the season now. Probably as well with all the rain we've been having as they are all held on badly-drained fields:eek:

Thankyou everyone for DS' birthday wishes. He is having a great day and very happy with the presents he got/we got him. In the end I didn't buy the books or DS as it went up in price.

I actually bought less ad DH said I had bought too much lol. And everything was reduced/free so well under his budget!!

DS got some money so have suggested he puts the money towards the DS he wants rather than waste it.
    HAPPY BIRTHDAY AESOP'S DS
Glad he's having a lovely day and pleased you sorted the presents so well ;)

Cold, wet and windy here, so DH volunteered to go to A*di with a list so I can stay in the warm :kisses3:

I had to read that twice, I was confused by your DS wanting to buy a DS. :D

Adding £3.50 to the total - saving in Tesco using coupons (on a £5 basket of shopping as I'm also trying to use up my freezer this week).

    Total: £54.79

Now adding £1.30 saving from petrol coupon
    New Total: £56.09

I've started with a vengeance today.

Two boxes of unwanted CD's ready to ship and several items on listed on Gumtree, one of which has sold and been collected already so that's £10 to get me started.

Hopefully, if everything sells within the month and I get my cash for the CD's I should be looking at around £100 :j

  • Anyone know if Disney DVDs sell on ebay? And if so, are they better individually or as a bundle??

I'm sure there'll be someone who knows more about Disney stuff than me, I've never sold any:o. What I do if I'm unsure whether whatever I'm planning to list is worth bothering about is to find something similar and click on the 'completed/sold listings' (somewhere in the column at the L.H. side of the page.) Gives some idea what sort of prices you can expect.

Sorry, a bit late to the 'party' as usual, but wishing Aesop Junior a very happy time in what's left of his special day:bdaycake:

Well done on your bargain presents and for steering DS in the right direction in saving his money for something he really wants:T.

May I ask who you sold them to? I've just sold 2 boxes to Ziffit.com and one box to each of Zapper.co.uk and WeBuyBooks.co.uk.

Have you taken out Disney codes? If so, put that in your listing, no Disney code inside box. I haven't really sold any on eBay. I tend to bundle and sell to ziffit, etc but I know a lady who might know. Will ask her

I sold one to Ziffit and one to Music Magpie. I started comparing prices with CEX, We Buy Books and Zapper but completely confused myself flicking from one to the other so narrowed it down to the two with the consistently best prices.

Will probably do the same when I get round to clearing out the books and games too
