Well, it's off street parking for 2 cars and is parked outside my house on my land (4 bed semi).0 -

Your not very clear here
Would it be obvious to the driver it was private parking? or is it a case of it being a parking bay you own but not within the confines of your boundary?0 -

And are both parking spaces yours or do you have one and neighbour have one with shared driveway...
I assume you've spoken to all neighbours and made sure they haven't "made use of it" while you were away..(Edit: ah just read post #8)0 -

It couldn't be more obvious, it's on my land with a big gate around it!0 -

So they've accessed your land
Ill be honest it all seems very strange, you dont have any teenagers, grown relatives etc whom have maybe given friends permission to park and not told you about it?
It just seems very strange that someone would drive on your land and park up
I do think its going to turn out to be linked to a neighbour
Is it alarmed? try setting the alarm off and see who responds, and if the alarm does continue to go off the police will need to attend and shut it up hence gaining access to it0 -
maybe its a coming home present??0

If its got a gate round it shut the gate and lock it!
I think the previous posters idea is a good one - if there is an alarm on it accidently walk/bump into the car and set it off. Or just ring the police and say the alarm keeps going on it and can they do anything?Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
You've got loads of options, but all involve some work.
Depends what kind of person you are.
E.g. Sue the owner for trespass, lock it in with your gate, badger the council until they help you, have it removed professionally and sue the owner for the costs, bounce it off the drive yourself, wheelclamp it and charge parking costs (might not be legal if you they don't have notice)...or just do something illegal to it (which I don't condone under any circumstances).
Or of course, just do nothing, and wait for the owner to collect it while privately fuming and posting on the internet0 -

So why didn't you lock the gate before you went away?dolce vita's stock reply templates
#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided
#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now
#3. Cheap houses are a good thing not a bad thing0
