Well I was starting to look around at the other broadband suppliers before my current subscription runs out with Plusnet. :naughty:

I am thinking of moving from Talk Talk but have no idea where to go next. How long have you been with Plusnet and how would you rate them for Customer Service and quality of service?

  • Has anybody else not had their direct debit taken since the hack? My DD was suppose to come out a couple of days ago but yet to be taken.

Unfortunately not as good now as it was. Long waits on the phone, ticket system for help all but removed and help from Plusnet CRT on Community forums becoming less and less. Many long standing customers seem to be leaving too.

I wonder if Plusnet are trying to take advantage of TalkTalk's woes and attempting to lure their disgruntled customers? https://www.plus.net/
I've never seen this offer from Plusnet, 12 months yes, but 18 months. Plusnet risk further hacking off their own "loyal" customers with that offer in addition to the reasons given in the previous post!

A second teenager in London has now been arrested after the Talk Talk cyber attack. And a house in Liverpool searched but no arrest yet.
Anyone worried about me ............. It's not my house, i've done nothing wrong.

Already noted by the "loyal" customers on their Community forums.

Our investigation continues, but we now know the extent of the data accessed is significantly less than originally suspected and can confirm that the following personal data were accessed:
    • Less than 21,000 unique bank account numbers and sort codes
    • Less than 28,000 obscured credit and debit card details (the middle 6 digits had been removed)
    • Less than 15,000 customer dates of birth
    • Less than 1.2 million customer email addresses, names and phone numbers
Superfluous 'less than' me thinks!! Seemingly, 1.2 million is just a drop in the ocean....

Talk about trying to talk your way out of this Talktalk.

I have just phoned TT at Preston, very nice guy, and had a long amiable chat.
    .

How did you avoid speaking to Shane in India?
Did you select "I'm thinking of leaving TT"
