  • it would not have bothered them any more if you had parked your car on its roof

    you state

"my defence will be no loss to the company"

which company , the one that owns the land or the parking company ?

the land owners have indeed been paid (if it was paid for) and they are not worried , its the parasitic , parking company that are trying to charge you , with there made up charges,

not going to ramble thru 3 pages , but (and I know you didn't) does it state CLEARLY on the signage that you have to park between the white lines?

but i have done nothing wrong please look at the pics

when you parked on private land you are deemed to have entered into a contract and to abide by the rules of that contract

they say you were parked on private land and failed to honour the terms of the contract, therefore they deem it their right to issue you with an invoice for payment, under civil contract law

they have the right to ask for money, if you refuse or ignore them they may have the right to take you to small claims court, then they will try to claim an amount of money from you by getting the judge to look at the civil case , so very much like the Judge Rinder cases you see on tv daily , which the judge may award them (or not)

this could all go horribly wrong for you despite what you may think

people here will advise you if you give them all the facts, but you are coming across as a lost cause and being ignorant of the civil laws, this will end up in tears for you due to your lack of knowledge and some parking companies or solicitors (lawyers) would use this ignorance of the civil laws to win in court costing you possibly hundreds of pounds

judging by your replies I would suggest you seek proper legal advice at some point, especially if this goes to court within the next 6 years

it wouldnt matter if it was a red coat day and they accused you of wearing a blue coat, they say you broke a rule and invoiced you for it

all you can do now is sit on your hands for 6 years , then if they try a court case, defend yourself

in the meantime , keep and file all paperwork for more than 6 years

Just back to check for updates.

I see everyone trying, yet again, to break through to you on this, Paul:
    -no-one is succeeding.

IT'S NOT US WHO ARE TRYING YOU.

SAVE YOUR PROTESTS AND 'EVIDENCE' FOR COURT, SHOULD IT HAPPEN -
[This seems to be what you want. The scumpany will be licking their lips, too easy-peasy]

-.but not before buying, understanding and acting in accordance with Parking Prankster's guide:

You are being naïve, Paul, and JUST NOT LISTENING.

Don't assume your parking event is unique or different.

    IT ISN'T.

Don't assume you will be understood, listened to, NURSED THROUGH BY A KINDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE JUDGE.

    The End.

What actually happened, right or wrong means next to nothing to a PPC - Post 1 of the Newbies Sticky explains why.

They just want money out of you and any so-called "breach" of their battery of unreasonable contractural terms is the hook they try to hang you-on.

So to that end, they are not interested in any kind of mittigation, explanation and they have quite unreasoning/unmovable hearts of stone, so do not expect any kind of reasonableness from them.

The Newbies sticky or the Prankster's Guide linked above are both excellent resources to help you challenge them! :)
  • does it say you must park squarely in a bay , and say a "fine*" will be issued if you don,t?

    * cough

    WHAT DOES THE SIGN SAY!!!!!
