Morning everyone!
[Deleted User] - I know what you mean. Mine died on me 2 years ago, I was at the height of the divorce shenaningans and the kids' father wouldn't pay a penny towards it, even though he was jointly responsible for the property. I had a blooming good cry too. I didn't have an EF then, but I was lucky enough to have parents who could help me with the lump sum, which I paid off over six months. I learnt from that, and this thread is great for keeping me on track!
Speaking of cars... my new one is still in the garage, and the Bluetooth thingy has completely foxed them! Vauxhall main office are telling the dealers it's nothing to do with the vehicle, it must be the six phones that we've tried on it that are faulty:rotfl:Fortunately I have a courtesy car, so am not completely stranded. Just imagine, once that's sorted, I'll only have final court stuff and mortgage to tie up, plus applying for a new job (yes, the axe is falling...). When that's all done, what on earth will I have to worry about?!! :rotfl:3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200. hi everyone
please add 17.50 to my total
saved 10 not paying for parking this week and 7.50 returned from a friend
thanks0 -
Thank you Duran Girl, Carboot, crazy_cat and Helen it looks like my share of Boiler-gate cost is going to be around the £500 mark which whilst still painful still leaves me with a reasonably healthy looking EF :T I've got some extra hours at my 2nd job this weekend so will use the money to start building up the fund again
xx

Making modest contributions to my EF. It now stands at £41.09, an increase of just over £13. I hope to add another bit to it when I get my expenses paid in a couple of weeks.0
