Fence is secure - yay dad! :TAlthough he didn't realise my son was in the house and double-locked the Yale so DS couldn't get out! :eek:Fortunately college were very understanding and are rescheduling his termly review. I bet they hadn't had that excuse before...:rotfl:
Payday for me as well - can't believe I made it through the month without going overdrawn, what with car repairs, final school bill and unexpected college fees. It made it feel worth being rigorous about taking packed lunches to work for the past two months Managed to survive by about £30. But I'm back on top again, so my EF standing order will go out tomorrow. Helen - will you please add £300 to my total?:)3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200. Hey DuranGirl hun.....Glad to hear that the Fence is now secure, especially with all that wind outside, I don't know what it's like where you are but I'm in London and it's pretty windy out there!! My Dad lives in Cumbria and he said tonight that it's pretty awful up there too....with both wind and rain and lots of it!!
Am I right in thinking that you are now at £2100?? If so I've Updated the First Page...you are doing Soooooooooooooooo amazingly well....keep going hun xXx0 -
Yes, that's right, Helen - £2100. Not sure how long I'll be able to keep it up, as my mortgage goes up quite a bit soon because I've bought the house on my own. Plus my last couple of legal bills, the car loan and paying my parents back! It never rains but it pours... But at least it will all be mine! (mwah ha ha...:rotfl:). Speaking of rain, it's been quite fierce here in the Midlands too. I'm surprised my fence lasted as long as it did. Fortunately most of it is sturdy oak (forty year old ex-council end of terrace), so I only have three panels on the border with my neighbour that I have to keep an eye on. The wind has really been howling - didn't dare put the bins out this morning in case they ended up being blown onto someone's car (probably mine, knowing my luck! ). Fortunately they were only 1/3 full. Buying less is definitely creating less waste!3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200. Hi all! Good evening. I posted something this afternoon whilst on my tea break has disappeared in the World Wide Web, so here goes attempt no. 2.
I have done a recalculation of our December budget and found an extra £100 to throw into the EF. We're pleasantly surprised to find an interest of £2.99 added by the bank to the account that holds the EF, current total reflected on the signature below 1355.13
Some possibilities on the pipeline:
* Hubby has decided to go to London on his own on the 14th of December to renew his passport so we're hoping there will be some spares from our original budget.
*. I had an email from ink cartridge recycling company saying that we will soon receive £20.25 for the cartridges we sent to them a few weeks back. As soon as we receive the money, it will be diverted straight to the EF,
* I emailed my previous employment agency (when I used to be a freelancer/locum). Asking if there is potential for me to do agency work for a few days in December (extra wage)"There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150 -
