I have managed to squirrel away a little bit more. Now totalled at £170.05! Not sure how I ended up with the odd 5pm though.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Any one else separate these savings from both their emergency fund and general saving up for things they want. (e.g. saving for a new TV)?

I have an emergency fund account, a holiday fund account and a Dreams account.
Each are getting around the same amount of money at the same time, but any extra boost is in the Dreams account.
Because building my dreams is the most important part of my life.

Please revise my total so far from 3250 to 3500. Thanks added £250 this week.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

    Evening All :)

Yep, another Night Shift...but I'm doing okay so far tonight, still keeping awake which is a good thing!! I didn't feel great earlier on but I think a lot of it has to do with my Weight...I've struggled with my Weight for a VERY long time and I've been up and down over the Years...I think, when I get back from my Holiday, I need to make a concentrated effort to start to do something...

So, not sure if I mentioned it or not but I'm off to Disneyland Paris on Tuesday...until Thursday Evening...I so need the Break if I'm honest and it seems that the only way I can really take a break is to be away from Home...otherwise I get too tempted to Work!! So, I'll be AWOL from Tuesday Morning until Thursday Evening...so if there are any Updates to be done I will do them when I get back... :D

I've managed to put another Tenner in my £6000 Fund...so I'm really pleased with that....Slowly but surely....but faster than I have done in recent Months!! :D

Here's to the Updates... xXx :)

Anoneemoose - I hope you have a great time at your Sister's Wedding...it sounds like you have some good Plans for the next few Weeks....Keep going xXx :)

Mooloo - I've Updated the First Page...You're doing AWESOME!! Keep on going...and I agree with you, it's VERY important to build dreams....For me, when things were really really bad, I didn't for one second believe that I could achieve my dreams but it was so important that I could still dream...does that make sense? I wanted to dream that somehow there would be a better future....Keep dreaming those lovely dreams hun xXx :)

datlex - I've Updated the First Page...You're doing BRILLIANTLY!! Keep on going...Not far until the finish line now!! xXx :)

    Hello All :)

Well I had an AWESOME Trip to Disneyland Paris....I actually took some time to relax as well as going around the Parks....so that was good....On Wednesday Night I slept from 6.30pm until 4am...so that wasn't bad for me!! :D

Nothing to Report moneywise but that's only because I currently on the Night Shift tonight....When I wake up later in the morning I will put some more money in and Update probably tomorrow night on my next Night Shift....

I'm really proud of how I'm doing....Not the best but not the worst that I can do either....The worst would be taking out more Credit but the best is a darn site better away from that!! :D:D:D

As Dobbibill says...Let's keep on keeping on....

Here's to the Updates... xXx :)

skye blue - I've Updated the First Page....You really ARE doing AMAZING!! Look at this way, you did have to start again but you didn't have to start from scratch as you still have money in your Emergency Fund...so that's a good thing....Keep going hun...You WILL get there... xXx :)

Dobbibill - I've Updated your 2 Pots hun...You're doing INCREDIBLE....Keep on going....you are doing so well!! xXx :)

Good morning all! DreamerHelen, glad you had a wonderful time and managed some rest too!

I haven't really much to report, hubby has been off work all week and our intention was to get our daughter's room done but we just haven't got very far!:rotfl: We ended up just chilling for the week! Oops! We have managed to tidy it out though so painting on Monday. We had another about turn regarding the wardrobes as we managed to sell the old one and her drawers with it. So, we shall use that money towards replacing them. Still within budget.

Not really much to report on the money side of things, mainly because ours is all sorted at the beginning of the pay period. I am however proud of the fact that hubby and I are making a fab effort to stay within budgets.

Hope everyone else is doing well!

On another Night Shift...but feeling okay at the moment....I'm making a concentrated effort to eat healthily so I have Satsuma's, raw Mushrooms (which people seem to think is weird that I'm eating them :D), a Banana and a couple of Cuppa Soups with me...so that should keep me going until 3am... :D

I've put in another Fiver to my Emergency Fund so that's me up to £50...so I'm really pleased with that...long may it continue!!

Here's to the Updates... xXx :)

Anoneemoose - Thanks hun, I DID have a great time and going back in January the day after my 40th Birthday...so I'm really looking forward to that....It sounds like you're doing AWESOME and keeping within your Budgets is GREAT work!! Keep on going hun xXx :)

    Hi everyone

Glad you enjoyed your trip helen

Please could you add £20 to my pot, the only way is up eh!

Hows everyone doing with the xmas shopping, im being really careful this year and ive made the decision not to buy a good few - children of nephews and nieces who i never see and don;t know their likes and dislikes anymore, plus they are mostly teenagers now -so ive made the decision this year. why do we feel a bit guilty when we make these decisions, i haven't seen or heard from any of them for at least 2 years!

As my retirement date is getting nearer (6-7 years) im making changes to my thinking hence trying to pay down my mortgage, so all these cut backs have some impact on my well being

Keep warm and safe everyone (fireworks going off at the moment around here) lots of noise
