You were right.


Argos would only sell me the phone if I got a £10 Vodafone top-up so I did not buy the phone in the end.


Disappointing as I am still looking for a mobile to replace my nokia.

Did you try to buy it from the Vodafone website as suggested, choosing the 'keep my existing number' option?

Yep but I can't use my L2S vouchers so it would cost me money !

Too many compromises to far to me... only dual core, dire 512MB of memory, small 2AH battery for a 5.5" phone, dire 1.9MP camera...

If you want to go really cheap you might as well pay another £10 at Argos for Bush Spira B1, Quad core, 1MB memory, 5MP camera. Its 5" which should be big enough. At least if you don't like it you can take it back within 30 days.
