Cheap but good smartphone????

sorry to piggyback another persons post, I am looking to get my 2 girls a andeoid phone for xmas, and have stumbled across the Samsung galaxy core prime for £109 from Argos, does anybody know what this phone is like, I notice they also have the galaxy s4 mini for £150 and was thinking about that, but that is 2 years old now so not sure what support I,e updates it can get now

Another year old phone. The only thing going for it is that it is relatively thin.

Why would you pay £90 for that? £69 plus a top up at Carphone Warehouse. Sell the top-up voucher if you get one. If not, it's certainly not worth £90

I don't need a PAYG top up and I don't want to be involved in trying to sell it

I didn't ask you to do so. I'm just saying that it's not worth £89. But perhaps worth £69.

Personally I'm in a better position than some, as I have PAYG SIM in order to obtain the PAYG upgrade price of £39.99

Alternatively, Vodafone Smart Prime 6 is £65

Not recommending any of them as such. Just an indication of current prices and specification.
