Best I can see at the mo is an indirect flight with KLM for £361 each.
Can you be flexible on dates? Is there a reason why you want to fly with Virgin?Gone ... or have I?0 -
Delta direct is £4060

best i can get is £350 for a really bad indirect flight with Northwest, from LHR, back to LGW.
£361 with US Airways...
Nothing else..
£480 with Virgin is the cheapest with virgin... pointless spending £100 extra IMO...

Hi,
After planning to go to NYC in September we're now having to go in August - except the flights are almost double!
We're going from Aberdeen (although will fly from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Newcastle if cheaper) for 10 days around the 11 - 21 August. The cheapest I've managed to find so far is from Glasgow on 8 Aug for GBP583. Please help us get the cost down!Lightbulb moment Jan 7th 2010 - all debts cleared by Dec 2010
Overdraft £1,600
Halifax Credit Card £720
Tesco Credit Card £2000 -
Flights have just rocketed from about £470 to almost £600 for when I want to leave. End of July to end of August. Is it worth booking now, to avoid it going any higher or waiting to see if I can get it any cheaper?0

Regretably the cost of aviation fuel means that fares will only go one way. Virgin and BA have both increased the fuel surcharges, BA only last week and since oil has gone up even more since then, it seems likely fares will only increase. To New York Air France/Delta has had some good fares in the market but frankly, anyone wanting to travel at the time the schools close should book sooner rather than later.0
