great deal for a direct flight at £210.... 5* by my price ratings!!

can't find it any more on kayak.. probably sold out for those dates, might be worth searching around though if they're doing some bargains!

ive found air france and delta to NY for the same price, any ideas which is better or are they both about the same

c'mon.... at the top of this page i said this

they're all part of the same FrequentFlyer team, so my first choice of what gives me miles, goes out of the window...

now, i've flown AF before to NYC, but it really does add a bit of time on the journey, going to Paris, before heading out to the USA... and also, the night flights on the way back, i found unbearably hot, and they wouldn't adjust the heating, because they said that people want it that hot.... so, again, i wouldnt' fly with them again for that reason..

Delta, now i've just flown with them, and thought their service was great... better than US Airways, and better than American Airlines.. so thats saying something.... maybe i got a great flight crew, who enjoyed their work... but overall the flight was great... the only downside was there is no AVOD (persona video screens) on the TATL (transatlantic) flights..

Flying with Delta from LGW in June, never flown Transcontinental before but they flights were cheap, maybe for a reason! Didn't realise that they are only just upgrading their 757's to AVOD....I wonder if we'll be on one of the upgraded planes?!

you're not flying transcontinental, you're flying transatlantic..

transcontinental is when you fly from say NYC to LAX...

I flew delta from LGW, but was on a 767, but that plane is now being used on the LHR - JFK runs, there using non widebody planes the 757 on the LGW run now... it is doubtful they'll have AVOD on their planes, however the service i got on both my flights was second to none, probably one of the best TATL flights i've had in ages!

these where on expedia with BA,i did book them on saturday as 3 mo nths ago they appeared for same price and i missed out ,this time i jumoed in,good price i think,now there are only ones with BMI for £1800+ they where for July!
