Cheap Flights to New York

Need some help guys if possible.
Looking to book flights to New York (any airport) flying out 22nd May 2008 and flying back 29th May 2008, for 3 adults and flying from any North West/Scotland airport (does not have to be direct).
Basically want the cheapest price possible, may be a discount code you know or generous cashback from someone or simply a very low price.
If anyone can help it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks, Luke.CARLISLE UNITED FC SUPPORTER

that bit i find amusing... i don't think i've ever seen any discount codes for NYC flights..
what price have you seen already, or haven't you checked anywhere yet?
the cheapest i can find right now from MAN is £358 direct with Continental...
its still a bit early IMO, give it another 3 - 4 weeks and some good offers may appear...0 -

Well maybe not for NYC flights exclusively no! - but perhaps a code for a website providing flights to New York i.e. I booked our hotel (The Lucerne) through Hotelopia and got 15% off + 10% quidco.
Who was that through with Continental markymoo??
Thanks for your reply and advice.
PS. Cheapest ive found is £350-£370 with one stop. Did find some for £320 31st Jan but on the 1st Feb had gone up!! And yep have searched extensively to say the least!CARLISLE UNITED FC SUPPORTER

was it advisable to book your hotels before you've got your flights ?
the point i think markymoo is making is that you don't get the cheapest of flights being offered with a further discount....hopefully quidco will track but i don't rely on it, as at the moment it's up in the air whether i receive nearly £100 for 2 flights i've booked to the states when we go on holiday.0 -

chances are (IMO and Experience) very high you will get a direct flight from somewhere in the UK to NYC, for around £300 each... read my guide to booking a holiday to NYC, (link on front page) and you'll see my thoughts on the three month rule, so you might be better off looking at prices nearer to the time...0 -
I've been looking into going to NY in april and have found flights for £237 looking through this thread I'm gathering that this is a good price. What's the likelyhood of me finding anything cheaper?0

Tiggsy.. are the flights direct?
if they are, they're a really good price, and i'd book now.... I always think anything under £250 is a good price, and shouldn't be thought about, it should be booked.
Some people got really lucky last month with some mad mad bargains, but to be honest, if you're happy with the flights, i'd book them now, and then start searching for your hotel!!!!0
