  • Hi Folks

Looking for flight for four, traveling 3rd April 2008 return overnight Mon 7th / 8th April.

Best i've come up with thus far is £280 for GLA / EDI to JFK connecting through AMS (KLM - through ebookers.com)

I dont suppose this is too bad a price really?

Would look to fly from EDI GLA or ABZ. NCL is not out of the question but MAN would be a push.. Anything furhter south would have to be sufficently cheap to merit a cheapy flight down south.

    Many thanks in advance

i can't beat £280 at a quick glance, best i can come up with though is £267, from Manchester, to Newark, with continental... probably not worth the extra fuel to get there....

also, don't be obsessed with flying into JFK, try all new york airports, as they're all equal distance into NYC, and all around the same cost...

Just booked a return flight to JFK in August at £274.10 from Manchester.

Been searching for ages and all other sites and carriers are at £570+.

Expedia seems to be having some special deals since BA site is at £600 for the same flight.

Not sure whether it applies to all airports, or the dates it covers - just seems that you have to avoid flying on a Sunday. Just checked £249 for the same dates as mine from Heathrow

Oh and there is 1% thru Quidco too.

£274 / £249 aren't bad prices, though august is a kinda low season in NYC, as its hot and humid...

most other airlines won't have bucket bargain fares on til about may at the earliest...
