Cheap Flights to New York

I'm Booked on Delta, £149.00 return, from Gatwick, factoring in the extra £10 it'll cost to park, its still a bargain, and before you tell me it'll cost more to drive there, thats covered, as i drive a company car with fuel included!!
and, as a bonus, the system let me book exit row seats too, so my and my sister have a bit more legroom on the flight too!!!
awesome eh?!0 -
I booked exit row seats with Delta last November but on getting to the airport we were not allocated them as we were told they cannot be pre-booked even though they were available online10

all my confirmations state the seat numbers etc, and i'll check in online, so all i'll do at gatwick is check my luggage.. if they try changing, i'll be mad.. i need exit rows because of the legroom..0 -
Just a thought, people can combine this deal with the ramada best rate one, and get one nights free stay at ramada new yorker - as expedia are quoting lower rates than the ramada website (for dates i am looking at in april)
Please refer to OP for more details:

Just to make people aware you have to book via ramada USA and expedia.com (USA site)0 -
are you going on the same days as me... as i've had to wait to book mine, as my sister was still at work... (we're booking on our own cards, to save on balance transfer fees and the like!!) and now i can't get them flights at that price on expedia..
doesn't matter.. we've decided to drive to gatwick, and fly direct, doesn't cost me anything in fuel, thanks to the company car, and it is only £149 return.. WOW, that is a scorcher of a price! to think i was going to book this week and pay £256..
ok... the parking is slightly more expensive, but the money i've saved, it just superb!0 -
prices look to like they have gone up today0

defo gone up, the flight I booked yesterday for £216 is now £327, wonder if we'll all get emails from Delta today saying our flights will not be honoured:sad:0

i checked the same flights as i've booked and they are still 149...
it is a limited offer, if DL have sold the "allocation" of flights on the route, the price will go back up to normal....0 -

where are you travelling FROM?
i'll choose manchester, because that is where i travel from
£326 from MAN - LHR with BMI, then change to go to JFK with Virgin
£309 from MAN - LGW with BA, then change to go to EWR with Continental
£384 from MAN - EWR - Direct with Continental
there might be cheaper, but thats a quick search. i best get back to work!0
