I know about booking the flights 3 months in advance but was just wondering what the concensus was regarding booking accommodation.
Hoping to go September time.
Thanks,

hotel prices will rise, as the place gets booked up.
some hotels may do offers, but, if you're happy paying the price for the hotel, book it..
personally, i book my hotel the same day as i book my flight.0 -
It's a hostel https://www.broadwayhotelnyc.com it has good reviews and i ain't paying a fortune when i won't be there half the time, it has a bed and bathroom which is good enough for me.0

it doesn't look like there are any deeply discounted fares available yet from the airlines, as the cheapest i can find is over £300. May is sometimes a slightly pricier month than others, as it is getting warm, and not as humid and hot as july and august.
Keep checking the major websites for prices, and maybe by end feb / march there will be something cheap!!!0 -

From which UK airport..
I really don't mind helping. I'm on these forums a lot wanting to help people out, but PLEASE, can you help me, by telling me the following
Day Going Out
Date Returning or Duration
UK Departure Airport - maybe choose 2, if you forget to put this, i'll search from Manchester as this is where i fly from!
Price you've already found!
I'll help, but i'm not going to find everything for your own holiday, so i would appreciate that you've already had a search around yourself, and you need some help. I'll try my best to beat the price, and i'm sure there are other people who will too!
As for 2 nights flying out on the 14th Feb, i seriously doubt you or me will be able to find anything cheap, as you are NOT staying on a saturday night. These following prices are based from Manchester Airport
14 - 16 Feb £569 pp (Aer Lingus - Via DUB)
14 - 17 Feb £271 pp (Continental - Direct)0 -

Good point. Well I'm in South Wales so Cardiff/Bristol are the closest (but unlikely to be any good).
Apart from that next closest is Birmingham and then London or Manchester.
Havent really found any prices yet....
Does no Saturday night make that much of a difference then?0 -

The simple answer to this, is any of them!
Newark Liberty International - It is about 15 miles southwest of Midtown Manhattan.
John F Kennedy International Airport is about 12 miles from Lower Manhattan.
LaGuardia Airport is about 10 miles from Lower Manhattan
They're all close, they all cost about the same to get into Manhattan to, and all take about the same length of time.. what you need to be looking at is the price of your ticket to any of the three, and not worry about which one you fly into0
