markymoo or anyone else feeling helpful, I am almost ready to book at the Cosmo (so I have someone to blame if it's 'orrible! :rotfl:) BUT there are five of us: me and DH plus sons 21, 18 and 16, and while DH and I would quite like to share a bed I don't see it going down too well if I suggest it to the boys.

Any tips on ensuring they each get their own bed? A lot of the search websites won't let me book five adults, or even four adults and a child, even into two rooms. I don't know whether to book and say "I need an extra bed" or email first.

Sorry I may not be making much sense now, time I was in bed ...

the beds in the cosmo are all double beds. you're not going to get 5 people in a room, with 4 beds...

the maximum the cosmo allow in their rooms is 4 people. you're going to have to book 2 rooms, both with 2 beds, and you're set!

Thanks for clearing that up. Problem is, if I book 2 rooms with 2 beds, we're going to have to have a boy in with us, aren't we? Can't see DH OR said boy being thrilled with that idea, DH usually has one thing on his mind when we're on holiday ...

Of course I have one thing on my mind for this part of the holiday, which also begins with S, but it has more letters and that S is followed by HOPPING ... :rotfl:

Also an apology, I typed your name wrong in my first post, but I've corrected it now. It was late ...

Another merry evening spent trying to find beds in the right combination. DH has confirmed he doesn't really want to spend 3 nights with a boy in the room, and I'm sure the boys feel the same way (he snores for England!) Equally I can't see them wanting to share a bed, even a big bed.

Some of the hotel booking websites don't let you specify more than five adults, others don't let you specify more than one room, it just goes on ...

So, since I can't be the first person to want to take a party of five 'grownups', anyone got any tips? Please?
