Want to book ASAP so any advice is really appreciated!
State the dates you want fly and where from, then someone will help you out.CARLISLE UNITED FC SUPPORTER

Want to leave 18th August (or a few days after) for 10 days. Preferably want to leave from Aberdeen but will go to airports in Scotland/N England if making a significant saving. Currently GBP559 from Aberdeen is the best I've got.Lightbulb moment Jan 7th 2010 - all debts cleared by Dec 2010

Could do with your help this please....this is also my first post so please be gentle....
My sisters and I are planning a NYC trip, who isn't! We can either fly from Glasgow or Manchester to any New York airport. The cheapest i have found for Manchester is £340ish and Glasgow £370ish. We planned to go for a week and don't know if i should try and get cheaper flights or try and get a hotel and flight deal together. Ideally we would like to be in the buzz of things and a fairly good hotel centrally located.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

Have you looked at flying from Edinburgh with Continental -been to NY twice with Continental booked direct on their website saved a fortune . Leave at 9.00Am in Manhattan by lunchtime (local time!)0 -

you don't state dates, so i can't really tell if they are good prices or not..
if that is anything between now and the end of august, yeah they're not bad...
i never book flight and hotel together, mainly because the cosmopolitan hotel isn't discounted anywhere but hotelconxions.com and it is the only cheaper hotel i'd consider staying in NYC nowadays...

Have just checked this - £640 from Edinburgh! Think £559 from Aberdeen is the cheapest we're going to get (through expedia).Lightbulb moment Jan 7th 2010 - all debts cleared by Dec 2010

expedia are normally at least £10 more expensive than booking direct through the airline... worth a check!0 -

Dont forget there is the potential for 3.5% quidco if you book the hotel and flights, which should easily cover the extra tenner, or 1% for flights only.
all the best

hi everyone
I am new on here and been reading through some of this thread and looking for advice..
I'm planning a surprise trip to NYC this December for myself and my bf, looking to depart 18th December for 3nights/4days. I have found a deal for £582 per person staying at the affina manhattan. Is this a good deal? I have never been before and not sure of the best places to stay this place seemed to have some good reviews. Mainly going for sightseeing and shopping,
any advice appreciated!!
thanks0
