Hi,

Could anyone tell me if the attractions and shops in NYC close down at Easter - On Good Friday and Easter Sunday - or do most places open?

And also, may seem like a daft question but has NY got much for kids, or is it more of an adult city?

loads of museums, and tourist attractions...
plenty for the kids to do...

as for closing down over easter... well i've been there over some holidays, and they might have slightly different opening hours...

Could anyone advise on what to do in the Evenings - nice restuarants, bars perhaps?... Shows even ?

its definitely worth visiitng once at least in your life.

think of central london but only a much wider scale, i mean seriosuly big, and alot more noise

what am i going back for? i like the city.. and no, i don't go shopping all the time...

let me explain..

single, no kids. i can't do "normal", or as i would call them "boring" holidays at the south of spain, and stuff like that.. also, i don't want to go to a hotel resort and never leave, and also never talk to anyone else, because i'm on my own, i like to explore, to walk around the streets, and look at the buildings, sit and watch the world go by, get drunk in a different bar

The beauty about NYC is, that i can wander around the city, and also, people are friendly, and i'll have a conversation with them... its fun..

and if you didn't experience that bit of NYC, anyone, leave midtown, go down towards soho, greenwich, tribeca, downtown area, and you'll find it..
