My other half does a lot of photography and is looking to do some stuff over there, when we get back ill pm you a link to his flickr account and that might give you an idea of where to get some good shots. Although in New York ill doubt you'll have trouble finding stuff to take pics of! x

I've already taken well over 1100 snaps of NYC on my previous holidays there, but this time, i'm trying to take about 1000, with at least 300 different shots that you wouldn't normally see and create a photobook/website kinda idea..

i can't wait. a week to myself, with my camera, and money for beer..

!!!!.. better book a flight soon!

Thats good. No shopping tips on my posts...I don't go to NY to shop....I don't want to waste a minute of my time in a shop when I can be mooching around Manhatten. :D

Oh I agree, I wouldn't spend the whole holiday shopping, just maybe a day...or two...

My OH turns 30 this April and i want to take him to NY for his birthday treat although will be a co

I have just looked up flights on 03/05 - 10/05 and total is £517.40 for both return flights which seems great to me but does anyone think i can get it cheaper?
