Dialaphone? (merged)

There is absolutely no way to email or speak to anyone at Dialaphone (unless you want to buy a phone, of course!) Unfortunately the only way you can reach a real human being is to write a letter. On the plus side, they responded very quickly when I wrote to them.
Their address is:
Dial-a-Phone Ltd,
Studio 330
53-79 Highgate Road
London

Planning on getting our 2 phones this weekend though DAP, but realised there's one REALLY important question I've forgotten to ask, namely:
DAP state:
To transfer your existing number to O2 just complete the following steps:
1) BEFORE you place your order with us you will need to provide us with your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code), if you haven’t got this you will need to contact your current airtime provider.
2) Once you have received your PAC, please call us on 0800 1071685 - our opening hours are 7am to 1am. Please note however this must be before you place your order.
I was planning on going via Quidco for each deal separately (2 x £60) but the bit about ringing them clearly means I wouldn’t have completed the transactions wholly online.
Can anyone confirm that my interpretation of this is correct or have you been successful in porting to O2 with this method while still getting the £60 from Quidco?
If Quidco is out then I will just have to go through the You At Work link (http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/youatwork/).
Thanks in advance,

I tried both of the addresses suggested above and did get a reply although I don't know from which.
It was from Mohammed Miah M.Miah@dialaphone.com
It did not answer my question but did tell me that the sales team could be able to help and then gave the freephone telephone number to use to contact them.
I think they only want to deal with communications which will lead directly to them flogging off a phone. I am currently thinking about getting a contract off them but I am going to make sure to call their sales team first to ask them what I would have to do if I had a problem. I will make it clear that if the only way to get hold of them is by sending them a letter then I will not be buying.0 -
Bump...

hi guys,
i can see a few top deals on dialaphone site. I like to know when you have to send in the bills by (i.e. within 30 days of the bill date). it doesnt mention it on the site/terms &cond. maybe i'm looking in the wrong place??!
if someone can help that would be great.
Deess
also thinking about a deal with DAP, have searched their T&C's for the cashback rules, cannot find them, does anybody know where they are?sanfly0 -
'bump'.... just wondring if anyone can confirm this?
is the insurance part of the cashback?
also if you claim on the insurance does the imei (?) number of the old phone get blocked?
cheers0 -
thanks been there, does not give you all the T&C's,
1) does it have to be original bill,
2) how long have you got to send it in 30 days?,
3) if you miss one claim does it invalidate all others...... etc
Just spoken to sales at dialaphone to ask for details of the above, will only tell me if i give my name, phone number etc, i said i just want to know the cashback rules, will not tell me without my full details, what are they trying to hide??sanfly0 -
Looking through the Dialaphone FAQ's and is does not mention whether you have to send a voucher back with the cashback claim.
If anyone has used them, do you just send a covering letter back with the bill?
Is a photocopy of the bill ok to send back?
cheersSmile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0
