Hi,
It's not going well for me... I've not made anything for the last few days. Must try harder
I have some bits on Ebay but I wanted some advice... I have loads and loads of old books. Nothing special, just fiction paperbacks. Years ago I used to sell them on Amazon and make a little money. But now, I don't know if it's worth it as most of the books I have are selling for 1p and the postage credit would barely cover the cost of posting the item.
I was thinking of doing a Car Boot sale (there is one near me that's open all year round and charges £7.50 for a pitch). Does anyone have experience of selling books and any ideas? Or should I just forget it and donate them to the church jumble sale?
carbootcrazy knows a lot about car boots. hopefully on later to advise0 -
Isn't that just how life works Banker ?
You're just about feeling the world is against you and then the little sweetner hiyts in and you start reghretting not being greedy enough ! :rotfl:0 -
£194.07 so far much of it from ebay. I downloaded my Paypal a/c from 01.10 and applied ebay's 10% on relevant items, then took off my postage and Pp fees - so a couple of days ahead of the game so far.
I tend to list as Fixed price btw - That way you get 30 days and the date of listing / ending doesn't matter.
However a lot of my items are "Collect only - cash on collect" and ebay will not end the listing on a "Buy it now" unless they pay by Paypal ! That of course incurs the fees - and I have spoecifically requested C on C - does anyone knwo of a way around this issue (Well an Issue for me !)
