Fmess you are putting me to shame. Going to get on top of finances and forward plan my payments come Monday. Have lost my way lately.
Hope you get the rest you deserve CCL.
Busy day, house cleaned, decorated for Halloween and pumpkins carved. Enjoyed nice hot pot I made and red velvet cupcakes. Cleaned up mess from pumpkin carving and red cabbage jar spillage all over walls, door chairs. Looked like a massacre. Couldn't get lid off jar but DD bf had loosened it for me unknown to me. So dropped jar.

That's how I was feeling before today and just wanted to plan for lots of different scenarios so that I felt prepared. Good luck with your plan.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Hi everyone!
Sorry for the lack of posting recently. Life has been busy!
Was my 30th birthday last week and I was a little bit spoilt! 3 meals out, plus a pub crawl, lots of presents and £55 cash!
My shop is now open and business is going nicely. My order book is filling up and I have 10 orders on the go at the moment, but I'm just about managing to keep up.
Managed to use the eBay code to place a bulk order of business items so that will hopefully help me make a nice little profit.
I haven't had chance to read back on what you have all been up to but I promise I will catch up soon!0 -
I have had a lovely day today. Not spend free, and not quiet, but not so busy that I couldn't cope. I did the football mum thing, then a bit of housework, followed by getting an acid injury checked out at minor injuries (did that on Thursday but it only started hurting today). Went through my Christmas present stash and planned what I still need to get (I'm almost done). Also inventoried my smellies and can safely say that I shouldn't need shower gel or moisturiser again this lifetime
Planning a big shop tomorrow with a voucher from Mr S, and I really need to take some time to sit and go through November's budget in the hope that I can do better than I did in October.

Ive got loads of cash back due to me in the next couple of months, which i need to allocate to a debt and pay off as soon as i get it. Just need to work out which debt it goes on.Still here..... but working on that!0 -
WelshKitty - well done on getting your shop open that is fantastic! Sounds like it's all going incredibly well too. How long have you got it for? Hope trade continues to be good in this run up to Christmas." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Oh no - that must have been a mess, that stuff can stain too.
Fmess - sometimes it just helps feel more in control if we make lists and jiggle figures.
Welshkitty - good news about the shop.
TOG - you haven't posted in a while, hope you are alright.
Do we have someone to run the thread in November?Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I got my mop and bucket, paintbrush and some firelighters yesterday, I used some money left over from this months fuel budget to pay for them. They were all needs so I'm OK with the spend. Nothing else spent yesterday at all. We managed to get out for a decent walk and I cycled too.
DS is playing football today and DD is riding and I need to be somewhere at 1pm so today is going to be all broken up into bits really.
Tea tonight is chicken in rotisserie garlic rub with a greek salad.
Have a good day all.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Dolly- yum that chicken sounds amazing! I am starving already and lunch isn't for ages. Clocks going back have thrown me right off. Mind you I also can't smell anything at all right now which is a pain and means I'm generally eating stodge rather than enjoying lovely flavoursome food. It does have the bonus effect of not being able to smell nappies too
I don't think we do have a November volunteer as yet. Not that I recall seeing anyway. Hope someone can find time to fit it in as the thread is so motivating.
