Hi All
Thanks Dolly & Calling, I just hope it comes off alright but I will wait and see. I was supposed to be finished on my business rent this month but my landlord turned round and said that during the closure the insurance company didn't pay him the going rate to allow the break. I'm a bit annoyed really as that seems very unfair to me. He had his own compensation from his insurers. Why that has anything to do with mine I don't know. But even though it wasn't my fault I sort of feel beholden to him for being so reasonable for so long as he must have wondered what the he'll was going on. I've decided to just pay up anyway.
Fmess - hope you enjoy having your family over. It's nice to blow the budget on something others will enjoy.
Calling - I think you are a super grandparent. The amount you do for your daughter is amazing. Sorry your back is still bad.
Stewby - you will still get there. It just might take a teeny bit longer. Keep going. And don't beat yourself up. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Apple - well done on your NSDS and hope half term won't prove too expensive.
Skintlittledragon - hope your little one gets well soon.
Traveller - sorry to hear you've had to spend out so much on the boiler. It's sickening isn't it. You could buy a nice 2nd hand car for that amount. But I'm glad you could get it done before winter really sets in. Sorry to hear your ex is being a pain as well.
MissTara - well done on your NSDS.
Dolly - I'm jealous of your cycling am missing my bike. Feels so slow to get anywhere on foot with the buggy. But I plan to give myself at least 2 more weeks off it as I have to respect that I've had surgery.
Andar- well done on your YS bargains. Always good for the budget.
AcademiaBlues - yum to the pulled pork. I like to do mine with home made baked beans.
Today has been a really nice one. Did a shop earlier. Going to have oven roasted vegetables with sausages for tea all done in the one tray and plenty of gravy to serve. Plus made an apple crumble last weekend that hasn't been eaten yet so will heat that up with some custard or ice cream depending on what people want.
Just been watching the Muppets on Netflix sitting round with lots of tea. Little lady is napping off and on.
Found 30p earlier at the bus stop and an 18p brand match coupon. So a bit of Wombling going on.
Not much else to report today.
Have a great day all.

I want to make a crumble now! Was talking to mil about that actually when i was in 4ldi earlier.
not a nsd, did the weekly food shop and got loads!! £55 for the 4 of us,which included nappies for £6.79 and £2.99 for pull ups. I got loads of meat and veg, the veg was in their super 6, all 39p.
Also had a npi!! Im stuck in a phone contract until 28th Feb, but my phone is damaged, and cuts people off all the time when im speaking, which is really annoying.I was offered a 'deal' (£40 a month) by a shop to get out of my contract early, i cant even tell you how close i was!! Anyway, what me and dd decided was that i would swap phones with her, so i paid £26 to unlock her phone so that i can put my sim in. That way after Feb i can downgrade mine to sim only and save a small fortune every month.
Not sure if you remember but ive just been given a work phone, which unfortunately im not allowed to keep during maternity leaveotherwise it would have been perfect! Dd doesnt really use her phone, only for selfies and games, its only a cheap one, so she'll not find the issues with mine a problem.
bob that seems so unfair about the rent!!
mistara well done on all the nsd's, im working a lot this week so hoping they'll rack up a bit
andrar well done on being half way through paying your debts.Still here..... but working on that!0 -

Go on give into the crumble craving, you know it makes sense:rotfl:
Thanks for the sympathy. It's annoying but I have decided there is no point caring too much now. If he'd told me in the summer I'd have raised it as part of my ombudsman complaint but as it is that's all settled and closed so no recourse now.
The phone news is good too." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I bought three large cooking apples for 33p (YS) so I will be making crumble but they are part of my getting ready for Christmas stock up.
Today I am grateful that my cough finally seems to be abating (thought it was making a comeback), for a really good read and for getting things done (very very slowly). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
