WelshKitty - how exciting about doing a pop up! Would it also be free of rates?
I've just had another booking myself for late October. It all helps! Sorry about the mess up with your course." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Checking in after my 'tech free' day. It wasnt completely tech free as i knew the dh and kids wouldnt have a tv free day, and i did reply to some texts on my phone but did significantly reduce phone time which im really bad for!!
Also nsd 2/12
Groceries 0/200
I did got to mr.t but my lovely mother gave me £10 to get dd a bday cake
Sorted a big pile of clothes from dd's wardrobe. I'm going to fleabay or fb some, and the rest will go to charity as my contribution as i really havent got a spare £5 to give this month.
I usually pull my cash out if the bank on mon for the week, but i havent got any in there so i'll wait until dh gets paid tomorrow!!Still here..... but working on that!0 -
Wow, loads to catch up with. Had a great weekend, all spend days but not too bad. Will catch up properly later today and update.
Had a few drinks and smokes at the party on Saturday, but had my first "clean"day yesterday. One down, many more to come.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

Welshkitty - what a pain about your course, hope something gets sorted for you.
Littleskint - well done on trying to be tech free for a bit. I think donating clothes to charity is an acceptable way to do your bit, not everyone has cash to spare.
Well today DD has set off on her residential, it is raining here so I am hoping the weather is better for her. I am working today but do need to tackle some of the ironing which is building back up again. Tomorrow we will be having our first meat free day - I didn't realise how much meat we ate until I put that rule in:rotfl:.
Have a good day all.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hello again!
Dolly good luck with the interview.
Bobarella I can relate to the cucumber and tomato addiction. Had my LIDLdidle shop sitting under my desk on Wednesday. Only half the cucumber and 5 out 8 tomatoes made it home.
Ok, my spending diary is up to date, every penny accounted for which is a first in months. Got £120 left for food and personal spending for the next three weeks which should be ok as the freezer and cupboards are full. Spend a bit on the weekend on lunch, cheese from a local farm close to my friends' (at much lower cost than the tourist trap cheeseries around here) and a bottle of wine. Better be really vigilant the next wee while (aiming for 5 NSDs in a row this week) as I realised we might be a bit short of OH's wage when he's in between his old and new jobs pay dates. His old job will pay him on the 20th of Oct but his new job might not pay him till 6 weeks after that, he'll inquire about that today. So the kids might not get any fresh fruit for breakfast this week but they get plenty of them at nursery and veg at home.
Tonight will finally be meat free day and I'll make a fish pie. Got another nice fish dish lined up for maybe Thursday. Will also prep the korean pork stew that will go in the slow cooker tonight (tescimo mag recipe). And while I'm at it and to aid the tech free night I might prep some more food for the freezer tonight too. We'll see.
Oh and our car is running again and even got fixed under the warranty, so no money spend on that, thank god.
Oh and contacted Tescimo today. Last Wednesday they delivered a damaged tin of soup (already separately bagged because it was leaking!!), so that went back. Never had to return an item before. Not only didn't the refund happen yet (I know only 45p but it's a principle) they also haven't charged me for my order yet. Usually the money comes out the day of the delivery, unless it's because they are still dealing with the refund?DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
May I join if not too late? I would like to have 12 SFDs in October starting tomorrow.

Good news about the car Thrifty. I've sent things back to Tesco before and they refund within a day or two usually but the original cost of the order always gets charged to my account before the delivery.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
