  • Sadly not a NSD today because......got too late to cook my planned meal of Italian pork meat balls and pasta, so we had a takeaway instead. And why did this happen? Because OH was fiddling with the tumble dryer. And why was he doing that?

The poxy thing blew a fuse and died on me mid-load!!!! We now have to buy a new heating element for it.

WILL YOU CLOWNS UP THERE ON MOUNT OLYMPUS HAViNG A LAUGH AT MY EXPENSE PLEASE PACK IT IN AS I AM GETTING SERIOUSLY ANNOYED!!!

    Blimey,this not good!

Cheffie is outraged and has rushed off to get into his Rambo clothes and is assembling his waterpistol as we speak.

*Telegraph sounds similar to a pneumatic drill, causing The Voles to congregate in Hubert's nappy stores. Cheffie scribbles manically, trying to keep up with the message coming in on the mushy pea tin & MrsD's knicker elastic that passes for ship-to-shore communication device...

Carviscocker this is a realisation that comes to many of us and can make a BIG difference,so well done! :money:
It can feel a bit strange at first, but I find it oddly liberating.
You might want to have an emergency £5-10 on you for transport (ie taxi) etc,but folded up and tucked away,so that you're not tempoted to spend it otherwise.

#3 is sailing through the air into the massive jaws of the waiting cauldron right this minute, and just in time too....

That was me this morning. Not literally of course. :rotfl:

Happy Sunday all.Be sure to keep on the lookout for nsds please. We can always do with more of them! ;)

    ps hoping for #7 today.
  • BTW I don't find it easy to vary 'the funnies',and often seem to end up with animal photos with captions.I do try to find jokes of any kind ie traditional cartoons, funny pictures, pictures with captions.

So if anyone would like to post something (on a daily basis even) I would be thrilled. It's nice to have variety.ifwisheswerehorses
used to do this very well but doesn't post here any more.

Having something funny posted I think keeps the thread from getting mundane and hopefully gives you a chuckle.

    Anyone interested?

Even posting something from time to time is good.

I'm still happy to do it,but don't seem to have the knack.

I hope everything improves for you :( In the meantime though those pesky voles have had their wicked way with my favourite pirating boots so if you wouldn't mind being a dear some VERY light duty to clean up some very light doody :D

marmite - animal funnies are always welcome. But not voles! Having spent the past half hour or so scrubbing scotmum's boots I tell you voles are top of my hit list at the moment!

Now, any sign of that island, Igor? Yes, I know it was mean of knitwitch to make you take her place in the crow's nest with the voles, but remember we are here to search for your ancestor' s buried treasure.....And with all the recent heavy expenditure back at Chateau Nargle, I am down to my last few dozen diamonds.....

NSD no 10 plus 2nd 5 in a row ( must be some kind of record for me).
5 more before I hit my target.

Tomorrow will be a spendy day - buying a Pram for my sister's baby who is due in December. Pram is on offer 10% off, which is a saving to be nabbed. (Will also get lots of lovely Boots points).
