Yes indeed,Cheffie has made a hero's breakfast for the hungry hordes of canny nsders:kippers, smashed potatoes and some chicky-chicky bork dish.Might be a pudding I suppose...or muesli?

He has been up since the crack of dawn preparing this,so please dive in.Not that he would be offended if some of you chose to have some more shut eye over a good, hearty pirate's breakfast....we all know what a calm, unflappable chap he is....he won't be offended...no,not Cheffie.

MIB has reached her 'in a row' total;well done! :j:j
  • 22 nsders and 81 nsds means that we have 3nsds apiece.

That should be enough to keep the cauldron happy...for a while anyway!

A storm of spendy demons off the starboard bow for Chateau Nargle lately....OH bought a washing machine online which did not arrive ...we have been scammed for £250! The company concerned (thieving barstewards, may they rot in hell) have been reported to the appropriate authorities, but we will not see that £250 again as it was paid by bank transfer, not by card, so no protection. OH not in my good books at present.

My lovely old motor (11 year old Volvo) is in for a service - but needs new exhaust and radiator, so will cost more than expected! Fortunately there are savings put aside for this sort of thing

Currently going through a mini health crisis at present - a recent routine scan showed I have a swollen appendix. Probably benign but I have been referred under the two week cancer rule, just to make sure. My appointment is a week on Tuesday, can't wait, as it is annoying me. Bit tender in that region, and I have been having sciatica down that side as well so been limping along like Hubert when his stiletto heels broke.

My GP has kindly signed me off sick for two weeks as it is impacting on my ability to do my job, so hopefully things will resolve soon.

In the meantime, Captain marmite, the Nargle respectfully requests light duties and a postponement of the punishment for not contributing my share of NSDs to the Cauldron of Doom!

(Ooh, peel me a grape, Igor, I've come over all wibbly wobbly.....)
One life - your life - live it!

Oh Nargle you are going through a difficult time....It doesn't rain but it pours. :(
Cheffie has gone all 'Rambo' and has sworn to track down those borking barstewards if it's the last thing he does!
I'm sure your poor OH is mortified....

It's a relief you had money put aside for the car.

    As for your health worries,sending you a big hug,if that's ok. :)

    Don't worry,we hear ye...light duties only.Light duties.....'sound of fingers drumming impatiently'.Ah yes,gotcha!
Igor has a few new recipes up his sleeve and needs a taster? That's a nice, easy task to keep your spirits up,hmm?
Mrs D. is making you a soothing poultice out of tea bags and Hubert has offered to give you an equally soothing foot massage, though quite how he's going to manage that I dread to think.

Are you managing to sleep ok?
