    1. Having a lie-in (almost unheard of with a 7 boy year old in the house)

    2. Daughter bringing us a cup of cold tea and cold toast for breakfast in bed.

    3. Spag bol for tea incorporating the last of a long ago opened bottle of red wine.

    4. Cycling with my nephew whilst the rest of the family went swimming (I dropped the iron on my arm last week and it's still not healed so swimming's out at the mo)

    5. DH making muffins with blueberries bought before Christmas, I've picked the berries over and he's using the best!!

Encouragement always works better than judgement.

  • 1. A lovely pork shoulder joint with potatoes and carrots in the SC for dinner with a side of sprouts.

    2. Taking a walk with DH and furchild and going to the park for furchild to play fetch.

    3. Going to the shop and getting only what I needed and not adding extras to the basket.

    4. Taking the time with the telly off to just sit and enjoy a good conversation with DH.

    5. Knowing the dishes are done and the kitchen is clean and shiny to wake up to in the morning.
    Take the first step.
Even if you cannot see the whole staircase,
    Just take the first step.

    Sunday blessings...

    1. Visited DM, started to plan our Spring short break (£9.50 Sun holiday), and discussed where we want to go later in the year.

    2. Charitable org gave DM a huge hamper for Christmas, unfortunately a lot of stuff she can't eat due to IBS so I came home with a bag full of goodies :o

    3. Petrol where DM lives is 3p a litre cheaper than home :j so filled up there, and no hold-ups on the car park (M25) for a change so got home in good time

    4. Still taking home remedies for cough/cold and just realised I haven't sneezed for 6 hours

    5. Got a call from a friend I haven't seen for months, arranged to meet up for a good old natter

  • Here are mine for the day:

    1) Putting away a couple of tubes of Pringles and some other snacks with good use-by dates for our wedding.

    2) Getting back into writing "to-do" lists so I can cross off what I have to do.

    3) Sorting out my book shelf and finding I have a massive amount to take to a charity shop. (They would probably cost more to post than I'd get for them by selling them)

    4) Realising our central heating is only set to 15 DegC today and telling H2B I'll be perfectly happy under a blanket (him too!)

    5) Darling H2B asking if we can keep the kitchen grotto lights up for a bit longer when the tree comes down. :)
Continually trying the Grocery Challenge. Gotta keep trying!
