1. Cuddles in bed again with DGCh'n except that this time DH was there as well and it was rather a tight fit, so we all got up before it reached the duvet fight stage.
2. Nice walk this morning with DH and DGCh'n.
3. Doing water colour painting with DGCh'n this afternoon, must make more time to do some watercolours myself.
4. Taking DGS to see the outside of a Tudor House he is going to be visiting from school in the New Year, as part of a history project. He is paranoid about old houses so this might have helped to alay any fears.
5. A (HM) ready meal and a peaceful evening once DGCh'n were delivered back to their parents, but Oh I do miss them.

Wednesday blessings...
1. Looked up Whiskey Mac as the picture on the pack makes it look more yellow, but the true soft orange is far prettier. How fortunate I bought a new box of tissues today, don't like to see DM cry but I know it will be with happiness. She loves anything that reminds her of her late DH.
2. Went to a meeting and there were christingles for us all to bring home from a service earlier in the day. It brought back many happy memories of my childhood
3. Later took my christingle to a friend who as a child loved to attend that service every year, conducted by her late DF who was a vicar in a village oop norf. Didn't mean to make her cry, either
4. This will be my 3rd sober Christmas in a row, after many false starts I think I can say I'm well on the road to recovery. Sober and solvent, a true blessing!:T
5. Belonging to this community and being able to wish all MSE'ers everywhere a Very Happy, Healthy Christmas :santa2: and a Peaceful, Prosperous New Year :grouphug:
"God bless us every one!" prayed Tiny Tim,
Crippled, and dwarfed of body, yet so tall
Of soul, we tiptoe earth to look on him,
High towering over all.
He loved the loveless world, nor dreamed, indeed,
That it, at best, could give to him, the while,
But pitying glances, when his only need
Was but a cheery smile.
And thus he prayed, "God bless us every one!"
Enfolding all the creeds within the span
Of his child-heart; and so, despising none,
Was nearer saint than man.
I like to fancy God, in Paradise,
Lifting a finger o'er the rhythmic swing
Of chiming harp and song, with eager eyes
Turned earthward, listening—
The Anthem stilled—the angels leaning there
Above the golden walls—the morning sun
Of Christmas bursting flower-like with the prayer,
"God bless us Every One!" :A0 -

1. Got everything I asked for, for Christmas - not a lot as I don't need a lot but very happy with all my pressies:A
2. My brother phoned me - it must be Christmas, he only ever phones in an emergency so I don't hear from him often - it was quite a treat not to have to pay for the call for a change
