    1. Managed to make a start on my Christmas cards for my elderly tenants in work.
    2. Pay-day! so a trip to Asda straight from work. I think that I've done the majority of my Christmas food shopping now - will only need fresh milk, fruit, eggs, catfood&kitty litter and salady stuff on Christmas Eve.
    3. Took full advantage of the 'free top-up' coffee in the Asda cafe as a reward for being a good girl with the shopping.
    4. Fabulous flame-red sunset this evening towards the Liverpool skyline from where I live. We are on a hill and half of the housing estate has been demolished for regeneration - so we have wonderful skyscapes at the moment.
    5. Got the Christmas TV Times this evening - so the best is yet to come! Hot choccie and a pen to mark off all the programmes that I want to watch :D!

(((((Hugs))))) to anyone who felt there wasn't anything they could be cheerful about today

    My Monday blessings -

    1. A neighbour rang the bell and asked if I needed anything from the shops (she's very much a keep herself to herself person but she knew I'd been in hospital for a few days last week so it was particularly kind of her)

    2. I had to go out to the post office and my car started first time even though it's been sitting for a week with no-one to drive it

    3. A friend who was getting despondent because she's been out of work for some weeks got the very job she wanted today :j

    4. Yet another successful loaf from my £4-at-a-car-boot breadmaker

    5. Another friend arrived from Rhodes today to stay with me til the weekend before heading oop norf to her family for Christmas
