3. Looking at DGD1 in her 'gear' ready to go to her ballet and tap lessons.
4. Actually managing to get done alot of the things on my FlyLady list for this week!
5. My hubby....just cos he's always there for me...A family that eats together, stays together

Good evening all
Here are my 5 today:
1 - Back to yoga class after what seems ages, since before I went to Italy. Very stiff but managed most of it!
2 - Pan of kidney bean cooked and ready for dinner, with spares to freeze!
3 - Knitting session at the Reminiscence centre in Blackheath with my good friend.
4 - My friend's hair is growing back nicely after chemo and she looks and feels so well, I am delighted for her.
5 - Managed to grate the last of the pecorino cheese (precious, the real mccoy from Sardinia!) from the last crust, on my rice and peas soup - delicious!
Good night all

I love this thread
1. waking up at 11amand realising that my lovely OH had got up at 7am, got dd ready for school, taken her to school, and done both children's breakfasts, and looked after ds, keeping him quiet so as not to wake me! he even made me a lovely cuppa as soon as i climbed outta my pit
lol
2. me and ds eating the last of twinks' hobnobs this afternoon, that i made at 1.30am this morning
3. making pies (with h/m pastry) from the leftover veggie mince & sausage mix i made yesterday - bloomin nice they were too
4. making plum crumble with a bag of stewed plum from the freezer, which were collected in the summer from our plum trees
5. doing an inventory of our 2 freezers, fridge, and cupboards, and realising we have enough meals to last us for a very long time (even if we still need to get things like milk etc, it's still going to save us a fortune)
i have plenty more, but will add them on tomorrow if i haven't got enough for tomorrowlol

I really love this thread, it is so good for me to pause at the end of my day and find five gratitudes!
Anyway here we go for today:
1 - Going to a Pilates class for the Over 50s after so long time and still find it run by the lovely lady who run it when I used to be a regular (which I hope to become again).
2 - A nice no-fuss lunch of tinned mackerel, avocado and oatcakes, filling healthy and nutritious and no need to cook!
3 - The lovely and unexpected visit of my friend who popped in to return an umbrella I had forgotten in her car and stopped for tea and toast with honey
4 - The anticipation of tomorrow's Blackheath OS meeting, can't wait, I am so excited!
5 - Planned dinner: root veg and squash stew with dumplings (if I have self raising flour) or with millet (if I don't). I LOVE squash!

Cleaning all the worktops and tiles in the kitchen and making room for my new breadmaker.
Tidying the mantlepiece, dusting and polishing it, cleaning and packing away all the clutter into a box for the loft, in preparation for the Christmas decorations.
