Mine for today are:-
1. A lovely steaming bowl of porridge in bed, together with a nice mug of tea.
2. Watching the squirrel swing on the birdfeeder and eating the fatballs. We got 8 for 99p at the 99p shop, so let him have some.
3. Making a lovely salad with young spinach leaves, sliced mango, shredded left over duck breasts, thinly sliced radish and cucumber, sliced spring onion and sliced bits of red chilli, topped with some mango and chilli sauce. It was delish!
4. Making duck soup from the duck carcass and some celery, carrots and leeks and will chuck some sliced green cabbage and some noodles in as well.
5. Watching Scotland playing South Africa rugby on telly and looking forward to watching Srictly Come Dancing and Merlin later on and not having to make any supper as the salad was so filling.
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Felines are my favourite

Mine for today are:
1. A bowl of homemade porridge and raisins for breakfast (bag of oatmeal for 99p which will do about 16 - 18 servings)
2. Getting 4 loads of washing done and dried outside - no need for the tumble drier to go on. In November ?!
3. DH cleaning the cars at the house rather than spend nearly £10 at the garage to get them done.
4. Having two ready meals (Thai Curry) bought in the RTC section for 10 p each for our tea tonight
5. Taking the dog for a walk just before it got dark - good free exercise for us all0 -

2. Having no idea what kind of burger I pulled out of the freezer for tea
3. Buying dried butterbeans for the first time ever
4. Having ten minutes to myself at the beach, and no one else was there.
5. Having far too many hm puds to choose from on a saturday night :TLBM March 2011 (what on earth took me so long?)overdraft (1) -2950 overdraft (2) -246.00total CC £12,661 :eek:loan £5000DFD 2016:eek::eek: (cant come soon enough)0 -
Good Sunday to all of you!
Here are my five for the day:
1 - The renewed pleasure of waking up in my lovely bed near DH after all the days I have been away (after 3 days back I am still delighted to be back!)
2 - Breakfast in bed courtesy of DH, lovely granola bought yesterday at the Country Living Show (tickets won in a comp!) and cup of tea
3 - Hennaeing my hair for next to no money and resisting the impulse of going to the hairdresser (saving myself upwards of £60!)
4 - Looking in the garden and seeing that the veg plug plants are growing well - some salading almost ready to cut for garnish!
5 - Soon, getting ready to go to posh dinner event, costs a fortune but I am not paying as going as a MYSTERY SHOPPER with my DH! Yippee!!!
Ciao all
CaterinaFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
A bit late, but here is today's
1. put in the raspberries today. I know that was on yesterday's list, but I ended up making sloe chutney as I couldn't bear to throw out the sloes from the sloe gin!
2. filled the ericaceous end of my first raised bed in the front garden and put blueberry bushes in it (gooseberries/blackcurrants in the other end)
3. put some bluebells, crocuses and snowdrops into the raised bed, so that in spring when the bushes aren't doing anything much I can have spring bulbs to cheer me up
4. I'm making chichri tonight for the first time, so quite looking forward to seeing how that goes0 -
1. shopping in the 99p store for cupboard essentials, toiletries
2. getting a shower curtain for 50p (2 for 99p) makes the bathroom cleaner lighter happy house!!
3. storecupboard meals, jacket potatoes, various odd bits as fillings and sides
4. digging out old cd's to listen to, and decide which really can be sold and not listened to again!
5. getting started on making string art pictures for xmas presents!£5000 debt cleared thanks to MSE advice :money:0 -
