    1. Buying a large piece of half price beef and cutting it in half - two nice joints for the festive season.

    3. Making rasberry jam from frozen rasberries to flavour my HM yogurt.

    4. Baking oat crunch biscuits.

    5. Thinking (hoping) that I have now got my OS ways back on track to help us cope in retirement next year.

    Two big pleasures today:
Waking up at 8 a.m. in the dark and wet and turning back over for a further snooze. After a lifetime of getting up at 6 a.m. and grinding along some miserable motorway to earn a living, being in charge of your own daily timetable is sheer bliss.
And being in a nice dry house ( no heating needed), watching the puddles build up outside and knowing I don't have to go out.
