  • Caterina - Lovely hearing about your Irish escapades and such good news that you and OH are communicating well at the moment.

I had a lovely family day today:
    1) DS1's 11th birthday.
    2) Lovely sunny day for us to spend the afternoon on the beach.
    3) DS1 & DS2 have made so many holidaymaker friends and they've been meeting up on the beach each day at the same spot so they can all go body-boarding together.
    4) I spent ages swimming in the sea (and the boys even let me play with them and their new friends too!).
    5) DS1's choice of takeaway curry and birthday cake for tea.

Hope tomorrow's another lovely day for everyone.

I tried to explain the concept of separating delicate washing from normal stuff to OH last night only to find it was a little too late! My bra looks like it's been eaten by a dog . trying to get a balance between being cross and not putting him off doing the washing ever again :A

    Anyway..........
1 - while online buying a replacement for the indispensable bra I found a lovely bikini in my size much reduced in the sale - roll on the holiday!
2 - waking up early and having a very nice start to the morning ;)
3 - got taken out for lunch yesterday by a colleauge who owns a lovely restaurant, his treat, mmm food was great!
4 - finally watching a film I've had on the shelf for ages - it was great, not sure why I didn't get round to watching it before.
    5 - yay it's the weekend

    have a great friday everyone!

    1. My tomatoes are finally starting to show signs of turning red.:j

    2. Postman brought Mr LW's new Harris tweed jacket, which is his early birthday present, replacing a truly ancient one that was terminally falling to pieces.

    3. Got around to washing a batch of my underwear before I had to resort to woad (don't know why, but I always seem to give Mr LW's stuff precedence).

    4. Last of the mustard'n'cress grown on the windowsill in my lunchtime roll. Must sow some more later.:o

    My five for today
    1. Getting rid of more stuff to the charity shop (although felt a bit put out when the lady behind the counter inspected it all before accepting it - I only take in decent stuff and I always wash and iron it before I take it in).
    2. Getting big cuddles from my friends puppy.
    3. Early birthday pressie from a friend. Chocolate and a good book. She knows me well.
    4. Clean car. I spent ages vaccuuming it out yesterday.
    5. Going on my holidays tomorrow.
Hope this finds everyone well. Have a good weekend.
