Not been online for a few days as we have been away in our caravan so my pleasures for now:
    1. Enjoying spending quality time with DH in our caravan.
    2. The weather being reasonable, so we were out and about without getting too wet or cold.
    3. Meeting up with an old friend for lunch on Friday after I sent her a text on Friday morning. I meant to ring her before leaving home and giving her notice I would be nearby but forgot. Just pleased she had nothing else planned for Friday.
    4. Only eating out once (we did meet up with friends we had not seen for 18 months). The rest of the time, we cooked in the van and enjoyed it too.
    5. Pottering in the garden this afternoon and seeing that the peas and onions are starting to show through, and the lettuce are ready to eat.
    6. Using some of the said lettuce to go with tea tonight. It always tastes better from the garden than the supermarket.
    7. Getting some English strawberries today which I will put in a cake for tonight. A friend is over for a few days from Canada and is popping in tonight, I know she loves English strawberries.
    8. Cutting both our lawn and the next door neighbour's this afternoon and my elderly neighbour in his mid 80's coming out to say thank you and having a chat.

Off now to start reading through all your pleasures over the past few days. It really is amazing how many pleasures we can think of just over a few days.

    Hello :hello: everybody

Lovely to be reading everybody's blessings again - it IS good to be back online again :D.

    - good blessing that this week is almost over (don't you just love 4-day weeks when it's Bank Holidays and you don't have to work them ;)) AND only another 3 sleeps before I go on holiday :j. I hope that Morrison's in Fort William realise that I expect whoopsies whenever I go shopping ;).
    - have had a good day in work today and been able to help a couple of my tenants sort out problems that have been worrying them.
    - have volunteered for some Litter Picking while on holiday - quite like the idea of being able to 'put something back into the community' as I get so much out of just being there and enjoying the peace and beauty of the area :).
    - accompanied Calamity Jane (aka DD) to the GP this morning to support her while she discussed dgs1 with him. Hopefully we are now a step closer to having his problems fully recognised and perhaps statemented. Until now, the school have only shown interest in his educational progress and not his overall behaviour patterns - but don't they just love the extra funding that he brings to their budget!
    - dgs1 will need to go to hospital to have his tooth dealt with. He caused ructions in the treatment room when the dentist mentioned 'needle in the gum'. Probably for the best, he'll be far easier to handle when 'out cold'.
    - clearing the fridge this week and had the remains of Monday's scouse for evening meal tonight - very delish as the flavours had really mingled .
    - got some eggs and 2 lemons to use up so will make a couple of Lemon Drizzle Cakes tomorrow for the freezer - on the other hand, we could take one of them with us .

Just wondering if we have any OS'ers in the Fort William/Lochaber area - I'll be there for two weeks from Saturday (9th-23rd May) and would love to meet up with anybody who's free for an hour or so :).

That's about me done for this evening. Hope everybody has a good night's sleep. Nitey nite and sleep tight  love from Ollie xxx
