Five OS Pleasures in your day today

scrummy-mummy aren't those cuddles priceless? My DD and DS are too big to sit and cuddle any more but now I can cuddle with the DGC, especially the youngest who's a wonderfully affectionate little girl
Kiwiblue, just adding my good wishes and gratitude for your excellent news, how wonderful for you both
Hope everybody is feeling better, the anti-b's have done me good already. Only another 5 days of the course so this time next week I'll be running around like a 2 year-old again
Yes, i do adore the cuddles, i would cuddle my children all day if i had the chance. Unfortunately i am 'supposed' to do other things like washing, cooking and cleaning; how droll
Glad to hear the anti-b's are working for you, i always find them amazing, but unfortunately they do give my tummy awful jip. Thankfully i don't have to take them often and i hope that you don't either
Have a lovely day!

part of veggie patch.

Olliebeak thanks for the laugh you gave me, re. chatting up men LOL
Reverbe, didn't you love the Story of the Weeping Camel film? I thought it was soooo good, I told my (then) colleagues when I was still working as a doula, that it is a film on doulaing for camels! It was so sweet!
Anyway here are my five for today:
1 - Almost 100% recovered, up and about early and feeling energised.
2 - Lovely weather again!
3 - Breakfast with DS (healthy eggy bread cooked in fry light and a glass of organic OJ)
4 - Ironed all DH's shirts at long last!
5 - I went a little mad, it is not terribly OS, but I ordered a bottle of organic perfume from Jo Wood online (also, after that horrible husband of hers run off with the russian waitress, I thought I'd do something sisterly for the woman - nothing like an excuse for a treat!).
Got to do some work now, have a good rest of the day xxxFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

Thank you Broomstick, a great idea. Perhaps I'll use 2 sacks, one inside the other, to be on the safe side. Will also wait til DS is home before I do it, I'm 4'11 3/4" and he's normal height  so better able to haul it up onto the line. And if he does it I don't get wet :rotfl:0 -
I haven't been on for a few days due to a gastric stomach bug  but am much better now. (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) to anyone needing one. <y 5 for today are:
1. DD's friend brought her new (2 1/2wks) baby round this afternoon & I got to feed her & cuddle her. The beautiful new baby smell. Good job DH & I are too old and the kids yet too young (IMO) or I'd be broody
2. Sunshine this afternoon I sat out for half an hour chatting to DS2.
3. Washing dried in the above sunshine :T
4. Anticipated pleasure of The Apprentice tonight although as an Old Styler the catering challenge that it is this week looked dodgy to say the least :rotfl:
5. Lovely chat with my Mum on the phone.
Blessings to everyone tonight.0 -

Hi chaps. We are still disorganised. The decorator is in our room now so we are sleeping without curtains and all the furniture is under wraps. I was lucky to find any clean clothes this morning. However, our blessings for the last few days are
1) A pleasant evening yesterday, when we all sat in the living room by the fire with homework etc
2) A very good book delivered to read in time for Book Club
3) DH organised the study this morning as a spare bedroom for
4) Having a friend's daughter to stay as her parents are working in an orphanage overseas for Easter. She will eat anything and has been very polite. Lovely!
5) A bunch of flowers from a friend as thanks for the occasional lift. Actually, the nice chat that goes with it is enough but I did appreciate them0 -
My pleasures for today:-
1. The ironing helped along by an audio book - free from the library (OAP)
2. Swapping over my summer wardrobe and winter wardrobe. Maybe a bit early but I'll manage the walk to the spare bedroom if I have to:rolleyes:
3. Lots of winter stuff washed and line dried in lovely sunshine.
4. A chat with my neighbour over the fence. Don't see her very often especially in the winter.
5. Lovely light evenings.
