Quasar, sister, you are still in time! Prepare to gorge!

    Here's the link:http://www.ladolcevitaevent.co.uk/livesite/

Unfortunately I did not manage to blag a free invite from the people I spoke with at the stand I was trying to buy pasta in bulk (they were looking but did not find the voucher, darn!) otherwise I would have passed it to you.

Believe me, it is worth paying, though, you don't need to buy any food because they have loads on offer. And if (unlike me unfortunately) you can drink wine, prepare to get sozzled!

Have fun, eye the guys, some of them are really worth checking out!

Let me know how it goes xxx

EDITED to say: if you can get someone else to come with you, you can get two tickets for £19 by entering the code FACEBOOK
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Oh at Olympia, so not far from me! Might go on Sunday :j

No I don't mind paying at all, and I hope the wine on show includes those from my own part of Italy, Piedmont: Barbera and Barolo... where the devil himself planted the grapes  :D

    Grazie mille Caterina! :)

Non c'e` di che, mia cara! Divertiti!

Yes they have Piemontese wines, I had a small taste of a truly superb Barbera d'Alba, unfortunately I cannot drink much because it makes me feel unwell otherwise I would have had an even greater time!

Ok folks, sorry for hijacking the thread, I'm off to bed now! :rotfl:

    Bella.

They're like woodlice but darker and more domed, and when you touch them they roll up into a perfect sphere :rotfl:

My mum always talked about playing with them when she was growing up in kent but they dont seem to exist in yorkshire so i thought she was making it up!

    Hello all :hello:
    My 5 blessings for today
    1. Thinking of how many posts there will be to read after the forum opens up again on April 5th - how is that for positive thinking!
    2. :j Kiwiblue and her DH having a little walk - made me feel very happy after all they have been through

    3. Lovely day out with DH and 2 very dear friends - went over to Wallasey and Ellesmere Port for the day - had a great day of laughing, eating cream cakes, drinking tea and enjoying a little bit of OS shopping - what more could a girl want

    4. Being very snuggly and warm at home this evening while the rain is battering and the wind is howling
    5. Enjoying a lovely cup of tea whilst reading everyone's posts :coffee:
    Sweet dreams
    xx

Watching the birds ( again, I know I am sad, but they cheer me up)

    1. Well then I'm sad too :D 'cos pleasure #1 of today for me is the two pigeons, fat as dodo birds, who sit like blobs on our fence and wait for goodness knows what! They just seem to get fatter by the day, probably because they don't seem to exercise. I keep expecting them to hear them chatting with each other like the animals in Creature Comforts!

    2. Getting a phone call this afternoon to say that the bit of freelance work we went up to London to see about on Wednesday is going ahead in a couple of weeks. Very, very pleased about that.

    3. Spending the afternoon asleep on the sofa again, and that was after a good deep 8 hour sleep last night. I'm still feeling unwell but it feels better to give in to it. I suppose it's a pleasure because I'm listening to what I need and giving it to myself.

    4. Seeing the bean and sweet pea seeds springing into life.

    5. Being given a handful of freebie moisturisers at the chemist today.

    Have a good night everyone.
