3. Shopping locally for my food for the week;
4. Weekend plans of mooching around the garden to look forward to; and

Hello all
I seem to be a day behind this week
My 5 for yesterday
1. Out early so avoided a long wait in the road works
2. Seeing 2 very young school friends, about 5 years old, being so pleased to see each other
3. Seeing at least 50 high school pupils striding to school from their small town to the high school in the next town and ALL wearing school uniform - very impressed
4. Having roast YS pork, new potatoes, carrots and cauliflour cheese and apple sauce made from the apples picked from my DD's garden last Autumn
5. Feeling very tired and going to bed early
((((((((Hugs for all))))))))
Maybe post later!!!

Hi everyone my 5 for today are:
1. 2 full lines of dry washing again.
2. I've finished weeding & tidying the back raised bed in the garden and sorted some of the pots out too.
3. Planting some primula's that I got at a car boot sale last weekend - they are such a lovely splash of colour.
4. My youngest DS coming home from school & chattering about his day while I finished off the garden.
5. Being told by one of my DD's college friends that she liked my hair - high praise indeed!!
I hope that everyone has a good weekend that brings you blessings & joy in what you do. ((((((((((hugs))))))))))) if you need one.0 -
Happy spring everyone! Another beautiful day here with lots of OS pleasures.
1. Getting the bedding washed and dried in the sun.
2. Chatting with the neighbours outside
3. Doing some long overdue mending out in the garden - now my walking trousers are fit for wearing again, the hole in the bum was not a good look!
4. Making HM stew ready for when we get back from our walk tomorrow - sadly SC and I do not get on but i can pop this in the fridge and reheat when we get in.
5. Looking forward to dinner in a really nice restaurant in he village and a glass of celebratory bubbly as OH and i toast my new job!
hope you all had a good day and have a peaceful and sunny weekend.Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!'0 -
Hi chaps! Good news, KarrieBee!
Mine for today are
1) Finding a dress in a charity shop that will do for work. It was only £5 and has that crispy, new feeling.
2) Spending the rest of the day on the sofa, studying or writing.
3) A Thorntons mint bar. I know I shouldn't but I did walk into town so I must have used up some calories?
4) An evening alone with DH. I made a meal for DD and her bf earlier, and we are having the leftovers, covered in cheese sauce, by candlelight.
Have a lovely weekend0 -

4. Having an evening in and just chill.

Here's mine for Friday (which has not been an over-riding success  and the sooner tomorrow comes the better, but I'm sure I can find five...)
1. Lots more sunshine.
2. Having sorted out the next wave of seed-planting last night, DS2 happily got down to doing it. The cucumber seedlings are so big now they've had to be repotted.
3. Getting a freebie strawberry plants offer sent off in the post.
4. Ploughing through yet more paperwork and shredding and recycling loads more. I have invented a revolutionary new 'in-tray' file that looks as if it might work very efficiently - it's helping me clear the clutter if nothing else.
5. Rhubarb yoghurt for pudding (bought on cheap offer). I love rhubarb. I'm going to go in search of a plant for the garden this weekend.
Hugs to all - I think I'm going to try for an early night tonight.0 -
Mine for today.
1. All packed and ready to leave early in the morning to visit DS.
2. Baking lots of cakes and biscuits to take to DS.
3. Supporting our local butcher and fishmonger and enjoying a chat in both shops.
4. Spending the afternoon gardening with my dad. I ended up doing the heavy work but enjoyed his company in the beautiful sunshine whilst he just pottered.
5. Just had a bath (aching from today) and realised that we have no hot water or central heating but have arranged a callout for first thing Monday morning.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.0 -
Hi all
Mine for today are;
1)Walking the long way to & from playgroup - enjoyed exercising, making the most of nice weather and having a nosy into all the gardens we walked past.
2) Watching my 2 yo ds looking after his 1 yo cousin on her 1st visit to his playgroup - He had his arm around her & was showing her all the toys & telling his mates what her name was - bless him.
3) Getting another £2 fruit & veg bag from Surestart - great value for a cabbage, turnip, 2 onions, bunch of bananas, 3 apples, lots of carrots & potatoes.
Enjoy your weekends everyone. Take Care xx0
