Oh my gosh...I need to share my happiness... I don't know if freecycle counts as OS but it is giving and sharing and encouraging re use which is pretty OS...but anyway, I got my first thing from freecycle last night, and I grinned all the way home. I've needed a new printer for ages and asked after one that was offered the other day...I went to pick it up and the lovely chap gave me a scanner too...what a star!! Made my day!Clearing debt to save for a simple wedding.Starting 2016 With debt of £77000

Well done nyksig, of course freecycle counts as OS, it is one of the OSest things around in fact!
Enjoy your printer and scanner and pass something on that you no longer need (and make someone else happy!).Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

Sorry Primrose, I don't take in floors to scrub, I don't do mine that often either, usually just a quick flick with a mop but that's dirty cleaning really and the floor looks so much better if I get down on my hands and knees.
1. Resolving to try harder to keep the kitchen floor looking really clean.
2. Having a good tidy up after a week of sewing and card making, looks like a different house. Did DH come home and say 'This looks like a different house'? Nooooooooo.
3. Making lemon curd to use as a flavouring for HM yogurt.
4. Using up some gluten free flour which I had in for when a friend (on a gluten free diet) came to stay. It's ages out of date now but didn't house any sort of wildlife so I made spicey apple muffins and sultana scones. Both have turned out quite well and I will eat them as they will suit me better than wheat does.
5. Lovely vegetabe fittatta for tea to use up my bargain eggs.
